"So Jimin, I've heard you're pretty close with your bodyguard," The interviewer asks the singer. "Is that true?"
"Yes actually," Jimin nods. "We started to become friends the day we started working together. I thought that since we'd be working together so much that it wouldn't be practical if we weren't building a relationship. Plus, he says he's much more on guard since we're friends because he's protecting someone he cares about instead of just someone he's paid to watch."
"That's really sweet," She smiles. "I'm glad you two are able to have that brotherly bond, and from what I've seen the fans love that you guys are friends too. Now, final question, and I'm sure the ladies out there would all like to know. What's your ideal type?"
"Well, I'm really not terribly biased to anything in particular," Jimin shrugged. "But lately I've found brunettes with big beautiful eyes quite attractive."
"You heard it. Brown hair and beautiful eyes, Park Jimin is looking for you," The interviewer jokes. "This has been Park Jimin everyone. Jimin, thank you for joining us today, can't wait to see you tomorrow at Billboard."
Jimin faked a smile. "I'm excited."
"Cut!"
Jimin's smile dropped, exhausted, but the interviewer was still perky. "Just so you know, I have a friend who fits your description quite well actually. Want me to set you guys up?"
"No thanks," Jimin declined politely. "I'm really not looking for a girlfriend right now," Then in Korean he spoke, "Hey Manager? Can we go back to the hotel now?"
"Yes," His manager responded. "Jungkook?"
"Coming," Jungkook came over in his uniform, a crisp suit. There was a gun on his belt but his eyes made him look significantly less intimidating in the atmosphere they were in. He went up to Jimin and started pulling on his arm. "Get up you lug."
"Shut up, you didn't have to rehearse for an award show for six hours then go to three interviews," Jimin let him pull him up nonetheless. "You got to watch me."
Jungkook's voice quieted down so only Jimin could hear. "Right. How could I forget how lucky I was?"
"Don't say things like that in public, someone could hear you," Jimin whispers. Louder he says, "Alright, I'm ready to go."
They went to the bottom floor of the building then out the door specifically for celebrities and other important people. Jungkook was by his side the entire time, scanning his surroundings. In moments like these, when Jungkook was serious and at his most professional, he truly was scary to those who didn't know him. They got into the car together, and pulled out of the alley, the car with the other staff members behind them.
As they went down the street, crowds cheered. Jimin smiled to himself. He was so blessed to get so much love in America. He still couldn't believe he got invited to perform at the Billboard Music Awards. It was a dream come true for him. He was just thankful his mom made him learn English at such a young age.
They got to the hotel rather quickly. "Tonight I'd feel safer if Jungkook was in my hotel room," Jimin told his manager. "I also would not like to be disturbed until 7am tomorrow unless there's an emergency."
"I think we can manage that," The manager smiled. He was a kind man, and not too terribly strict unless he had to be. "Jungkook, you heard him."
"Of course Sir," Jungkook nodded and took the room key from the manager. "Come on Jimin."
They went to the top floor, the floor reserved for only Jimin and his staff, and Jungkook unlocked the hotel room belonging to Jimin. The second the singer got into the room he threw his bag to the side and flopped onto the bed, lying on his back and letting out a tired sigh. Jungkook walked up to him, pausing to stare at him, smiling softly, before flopping on top of him.
