3rd person POV

Taehyung has been pacing in Jimin's living room for the past 2 hours, contemplating whether to give
Jungkook a call or not. He knew he promised Yoongi, but...... he can't. He just can't. Jimin already left for work and its only him and Yoongi.

What should he do? What should he say? What could Jungkook has possibly has to say to him? Lets say he call him, then what? Lets say he listen to Whatever Jungkook has to say, then what? What if he didn't like what he was about to hear? What if whatever Jungkook is about to tell him will hurt him? Will he be able to take it? Can his broken heart take it?

No, i can't

He will apologize to Yoongi but he really can't. Of course right on time, Yoongi step out from his room, hair disheveled and yawning. He went to find Taehyung, only to meet with Taehyung horrified eyes, looking back at him. He was puzzled at first as he just woke up and his brain hasnt fully function yet. Then, as if his brain finished loading, he remember, but looking at Taehyung's expression, he figured he didnt call Jungkook like he promised.

"Let me guess, you chicken out" Yoongi said

"Im sorry hyung...." Taehyung said, scared to look up to him. Taehyung well aware of how scary Yoongi can be.

"Why?" Yoongi ask.

"Im too scared to listen to what he has to say.. what if he'll hurt me again? I can't hyung..." he said. Hoping that Yoongi will show him mercy.

"How would you know he's going to hurt you?" Yoongi ask. He just woke up so he can't be nice.

"Because he always hurt me. I can't hyung. I know i promised you but i can't. Im sorry..." Taehyung replied.

Yoongi takes a deep breath. He tries to be rational.

"Whats the worse thing that could've happen? He hurt you? He done that already, many time. He can't hurt you anymore" Yoongi tell Taehyung.

"But...." Taehyung look down to his phone.

Yoongi didnt meant to but he's a little bit pissed.

"Dont you think you're being selfish right now?" Yoongi asked. Of course, he only said that because he has seen how messed up Jungkook is right now.

"What? Im being selfish?? You're pushing me and forcing me to call Jungkook knowing full well he's going to hurt me just so you can have your peaceful days at work??? Yeah no, im selfish. You're not!" Taehyung then explode. He know Yoongi is older and he's being rude right now but he doesnt like it when Yoongi force him like that. He wish Yoongi be more considerate.

"You dont know that! You dont know he's going to hurt you. You just blindly decide that he's going to hurt you without even listening to what he has to say. What if he wants to apologize? What if he just really wants to talk? What if there's something else you need to know? What if there's a reason??" Yoongi said in an agitated voice.

"What reason? What else is there for me to know??" Taehyung frustratedly ask Yoongi. But Taehyung is dense, he couldn't sense that behind Yoongi's words, he actually know something.

"Which is why i told you to call him. Then you'll know" Yoongi said. This time its in much softer tone. He then come closer to Taehyung, his expression softened.

"Look, if you cant do it alone then don't, I'm here with you. I'll be with you the whole time. If what he's about to say will hurt you then i will kick the life out of him myself. But you got to be brave Tae, you have to listen to what he has to say" Yoongi said.

"What if the situation was reversed? What if you're the one who need to speak with Jungkook but he wont let you?" Yoongi ask him.

Clearly his persuasion is working because he can see Taehyung seems to be listening to him. Thank god for creating Park Jimin who always persuade him to do things, he learned a few tricks from the master.

"Promise you'll be with me the whole time?" Taehyung ask, he just want to make sure.

"Yes, i'll hold your hand if you want but hopefully you don't cause that would be weird" Yoongi replied.

"Okaay, but first. Please brush your teeth" Taehyung teased.

"Yaaaa brat! I already did!"

Jungkook been checking his phone every 5 second. He's been doing that since this morning and its almost noon and Taehyung still hasn't call him. He check his phone again. Still no call and no notification. All of his work is piled up today. He hasn't started doing any yet, busy waiting for Taehyung to call. He's pacing, then sitting, then standing, then lie down on his couch, then stand up and pace again. He's restless.

He specifically tell Lisa to clear his calendar today and do not let anyone enter his office. Until he hear from Taehyung, he wont do anything. He takes out his phone to check again, but nothing. All the chimes and notifications are from his parents, friends and mostly Jackson. He's been dreading to bring Jungkook to some model party, he's not quite sure himself but he is not in any mood to go party at the moment.

He stand up and at the same time, his phone rings. Jungkook was so shocked he almost drop his phone but catches it right away.

Its Taehyung

Can this be real? Did that rude, pale skin bartender pull it off? He can't believe it. Taehyung been avoiding him since their fight a week ago and now he is calling. Suddenly Jungkook is nervous. He's flustered, but still manages to answer the call. He feel like his heart is about to jump out from his chest.

"Hello" he tried to sound normal but instead he sounded lazy. That's not what he intended, but Taehyung didn't know that.

"Umm. Hello, Jungkook" Taehyung answered. He glance to Yoongi. Jungkook's tone sounded like he didn't want to talk at all.

"Umm, Yoongi told me to give you a call so i did but if now is not a good time then-"

"No no no now is the perfect time. There isn't any time more perfect than now" Jungkook cut him off and said in one breath.

Taehyung can hear how flustered Jungkook is when he said that and he thought of how cute Jungkook must be right now. He cant help but let out a chuckle. A small laugh.

"I miss that.." without thinking, Jungkook said that.

Without warning, Taehyung's heart skip a beat.

None seems to speak afterwards, just both of them listening to each other breathing. Somehow its comforting to the both of them. But Yoongi can't handle the silence, like, on the phone but no one speaks? Then whats the point? (Classic Yoongi)

"Uh. Jungkook? Is there something you want to tell me?" Taehyung finally broke the silence.

"Right, yes yes. There is" Jungkook tells him.

"Its about me and Lisa. Its not like what you think, if you give me a chance, i can explain everything. Meet me?" Jungkook asked. It was more like a whisper, because he's scared that Taehyung might say no.

What should Taehyung say? Should he say no? Or should he say yes?
