Chapter 20(Final)

SHEN POV

Lian screamed and both of u were quick on our feet, running towards them, we saw Lian holding Yesun who was crying while she was screaming at this woman and a kid

"we're not monsters!" 

Yunlan ran to pick up Lian to calm her down, while I picked up Yesun to sooth him to stop crying

"what happened sweetie? " Yunlan asked Lian

"we were playing with that kid, when his mom suddenly came over and pulled him away saying , not to play with us because we are monsters" She replied with mix of anger and sadness in her voice

Both me and Yunlan turned to that woman, and she was about to say something then she realized who I was.¨

"Mr.Shen.." she nervously said, She looked familiar 

crap what is the boss doing here

Boss? , that means she works for me, I said in a calm but harsh tone

"how dare you insult my kids?"

"y...your kids?"  

Then Yunlan said

"How can a grown up woman say something like that to kids? aren't you ashamed of yourself?" 

She was just stuttering low words that we could not really hear what she was saying, then Yunlan continued 

"was your child scared? did they hurt him?, no I believe they were playing happily together. You should learn from your child, not to discriminate don't you think?" 

The few people who were around witnessing the whole thing, started to clap at what Yunlan said. 

Then this other woman came with 2 ice creams in her hand, she tapped on Yesuns shoulder trying to get him to look at her, which he did in the end¨

"hey cutie, do you want some ice cream?" she asked warmly, he looked at me

can I? , I nodded and gave him and her a small smile 

"If I give you this, you have to promise me that you will always remember that your eyes are very beautiful, can you do that?" 

He nodded again and gave her a smile, she then gave the other one to Lian. Then she gave me her card, then gave a smile to me and Yunlan

"Hope to hear from you" she said before leaving. We looked at the card, she was a producer at a very popular TV-broadcast station. 

Before we left I turned to that woman that insulted our kids, 

"I look forward to your resignation letter"  She did not say anything.

ZHAO POV

The family and Mrs Song and the kids came over for the birthday party for the kids. The night went well. Lian and Yesun was very happy with their new room. They shared a room, but it almost looked like 2 rooms. One side had color blue and green with Yesuns favorite stuff, other side was yellow and lavender color with Lians favorite stuff.  In the middle you could pull out to doors to split up the room in two. In case one day they wanted to be alone. 

They had gone to bed when me and Shen wei was just cuddling watching TV.

"We should stop wearing contacts for the kids sake" wei wei suddenly said

"yeah I agree"  and gave him a small peck on his cheeks, he smiled then said

"what if  we get on a show again to explain stuff before rumors start again?"
