Thea smiled broadly as she walked down the sidewalk of the French Quarter, completely free and without a care in the world. Since the hybrid had killed Francesca – Hayley, Elijah and Klaus had all adhered to her warning and stayed clear out of her way. In return, the Lockwood teen had cut down on her vicious feasting; now only having 5 meals a week instead of her usual 11 (depending on her mood that day that is).
The brunette had even learnt how to control her bloodlust and stopped tearing the heads from her victims, instead only draining them as much as she needed before compelling them to forget. This was, of course, only because Thea had absolutely no interest in cleaning up after herself and Elijah had bluntly refused to continue doing it for her.
Though the Mikaelson brothers and Hayley had stayed out of the teen's way, it didn't mean they had given up on their plan to get her to switch her emotions back on. In fact, the mission was very much planned out and all that was left to do was find a moment to enact it. They knew that they had to choose their moment carefully for if it went wrong and Thea realised what they were doing, they would never get another chance.
But, as of right now, the Lockwood teen was enjoying her moment of freedom without either original or Hayley breathing down her neck. She had been pretty much alone for the last 4 months, but for the first time she felt as if she finally had control of herself even if she had no handle on her emotions. There was nobody stood over her – telling her how to act or how to be. And though she still lacked her humanity, she had grown more accustomed to adapting to it. But that didn't mean she didn't like to still have her fun.
"That's a pretty coat," Thea gushed as she stopped in front of a random blonde woman on the sidewalk, a sickly false smile on her red-coated lips as she admired the woman's coat. The blonde smiled back at her in gratitude, about to reply just as Thea's eyes dilated as she stared the woman dead in her green eyes. "I want it," the Lockwood teen compelled, smiling as the woman removed the red coat and handed it to her with a confused frown – unsure as to why she was doing it.
"Thank you. You can leave now," Thea stated bluntly as she looked at the woman expectantly, smirking as she watched the blonde hurry away from her in slight fear as she put on the coat. "Still terrorising the innocent people of the Quarter, little wolf?" Klaus' familiar voice spoke up as he stepped up behind her with a teasing smirk causing Thea to roll her eyes in mild annoyance before she turned to face him.
"Klaus," the Lockwood teen greeted bluntly as he continued to smirk at her, "come to babysit me?" the hybrid mocked as she arched one of her perfectly shaped eyebrows in annoyance. Klaus shook his head in refusal, an amused smirk on his lips as he answered her, "on the contrary, little wolf. I've come to acquire your assistance in terrorising the witches," the original stated causing the Lockwood teen to furrow her brows as she continued to fasten the buttons on her new coat.
