All Thea felt the next morning was overwhelming happiness as she doted on her two children. "My sweet little angels," she said softly as the twins giggled, Kaiden clapping his hands as Hope reached out for her mother. After talking with Hayley last night, Thea spent the entire night watching over the twins until she too fell asleep. All though, she didn't miss the encounter between Hayley and Elijah the previous night.

Never had she hated the fact that she had enhanced hearing more in her life. "Don't worry baby, Mama's here," the hybrid soothed as she picked Hope up into her arms, situating her right before picking up Kaiden too. "You know, having two children is a blessing - but man, is it tough to carry them everywhere on your own," Thea huffed as she entered the kitchen with both babies, finding Elijah making breakfast with Hayley stood awkwardly near him.

The Marshall woman chuckled, smiling as she walked over to the Lockwood teen, taking Kaiden from her arms with a beaming smile. "Hiya baby," Hayley cooed in greeting as she kissed her nephew on the cheek causing Thea to smile as she watched them. "So, how'd you both sleep?" the hybrid inquired, an innocent expression displayed on her features though she was smirking internally.

Elijah and Hayley shot each other a quick glance as the Marshall woman squirmed awkwardly causing Thea to bite her lip so that she didn't laugh. "Rather nicely, you?" Elijah finally answered causing Thea to hum teasingly in response, biting her tongue so that she didn't let it slip that she knew what had happened in an effort to save herself another awkward moment.

"Perfectly," the hybrid responded smiling down at her children in awe as Kaiden reached his arms out towards her, wanting his mother back causing Hayley to chuckle. "Seems this one's a bit of a momma's boy," the Marshall woman commented as Thea laughed, handing her Hope as she took Kaiden back. The infant smiled joyfully as he found himself back in his mother's arms, his hazel eyes widening in amazement as he played with her hair.

"At least I know I've got one of them on my side - Hope is all Nik. She won't even let me hold her when he's in the room," Thea laughed as she turned back to Hayley who was pulling faces at the giggling baby in her arms. "Sounds like someone else I know," Elijah teased as finished the breakfast, walking over to the hybrid as he placed a kiss on his nephew's head before moving over to Hayley and placing one on Hope's.

"Hey! I'm not that obsessed with him," Thea called out in defense as Elijah chuckled, leaving the room. Hayley continued to laugh as the original exited causing Thea to narrow her eyes as she focused her attention back on her. "I don't know what you're laughing at Miss 'I slept with Elijah Mikaelson last night'," the Lockwood teen retorted, smirking at the wolf teasingly causing Hayley's face to pale as she stopped laughing.
