Lucas's POV

"So is this just casual sex? Or is it something serious? Because let me tell you Luca, dare you break her heart! She is my friend!" shouted Ari.

We were seated on the bed with our heads hanging in shame like two sneaky teenagers caught having sex. Sneaking up here seemed like a mistake.

"No, we are not casual Ari" I said rubbing my temples.

"Then what's the meaning of all of this?!"

My head turned to Athie with a sorrowful face. I wanted to respect her wishes. I really wanted to keep this a secret. But then my sister had caught us in the middle of making out, demanding answers.

Ah, the makeout session was so hot..

My thoughts were interrupted by my sister talking.

"Thena, you don't need to do this okay. I mean my brother can be an asshole" said  Ari, "is Luca forcing you? You can tell me yes and don't be scared, I will ensure that he does nothing."

"ARI!"

"Oh please brother" said Ari, "Thena, you know we are friends right."

My eyes were glued to my mate. She was flabbergasted and kept biting her bottom lip out of anxiety.

She nodded and closed the gap between us.

"Ari, this is not casual okay? You don't need to worry" said Athie, intertwining her fingers in mine, "you don't have anything to worry about."

A smile was forming on my lips.

Our mate has finally accepted us  howled Leon in joy.

After what seemed like an eternity, my sister's eyes were wide in realisation.

"OH MY GODDESS!! OH MY GODDESS!!"

"Shhhh, no no, don't shout" whispered my mate, "the others will hear you."

"Oh my Goddess, you both are mates. Oh my, that means you are my Luna" gushed Ari settling down on the bed.

"Yes she is my Luna, our Luna" I said with a sense of pride, giving my mate a peck on her cheek.

Athie turned her head to me, blushing in return.

"Oh my Goddess, I cannot believe this. My brother is so lucky to have you Thena. Honestly, how did the Moon Goddess give him such a beautiful mate. Oh my, I cannot wait to meet mine once I turn eighteen."

My mate giggled, making me grin at her.

"I am a lucky man. The Goddess has given me a beautiful mate" I said, gaining my mate's blush in return.

"One sec" said Ari, making our heads turn towards her.

"What?" I asked.

"Then why doesn't the pack know yet? Why is this a secret?"

Athie and I looked at each other unsure of what to say. Then she spoke.

"I had asked him to keep this a secret. All my life I had worked hard to be a warrior, and now that I am in a pack, I want to be one. But if the pack gets to know about the Alpha finding his mate, they will demand that the mating ceremony take place soon. I wanted to hold out on the same."

"But who said you cannot be a Luna and a Warrior at the same time?"

"Because it is unheard of. When have you heard a Luna present at the first line of defense?" I said.

Ariana shrugged.

"Then change the convention. Athena can be a Luna and a Warrior, she can be the first Luna Warrior, no?"

Athena looked at me anticipation. Something told me that she was waiting for my opinion.

I simply shrugged looking at her. I didn't know what to tell her. Was keeping our Luna at the first line of defense a good idea? The Alphas are always present at the front during an attack. What if the pack loses their Alpha and Luna too?

"Ahem."

I looked at Ariana.

"Now Mr. Alpha, I think you should leave us to our girls night."

I looked at Athie. Her eyes seemed sad which made my wolf whine. But what should I tell her?

Yes, you can be a Luna and a Warrior?

No, it is not fine by me! The pack will never allow. Hell, I will never allow it!

"We can talk about it later okay?" I said.

Her sad eyes held my gaze.

Giving her a quick peck, I jumped out of the window leaving my sister and mate to have a girls night.
