The Biggest Liar

You see the beauty in everyone's life, except your own,

but I'm here to tell you that you're not alone.

You fall into a dark pace,

but everyone does at their own pace.

You're not broken, you're just bent,

but everyone is, the more time spent.

You're an angle in the hell called life,

held back by a demon with a sharp knife.

You're clutching tight to whatever you have left to live for,

but don't even realize you're worth so much more.

I know that at times, it feels like you have nobody,

but those are the days when you can run to anybody.

Depression is the biggest liar,

burning away at you like a fire.

But you have the power to overcome,

and get away from something so numb.

Just remember that depression is a liar,

and you are an even stronger fighter.
