42- Here Goes Nothing

Napatalon paatras si Gaius nang sabay-sabay siyang inatake ng limang Turned. Hindi malayo sa kanya ay nakikipaglaban din si Rifka gamit ang rapier nito. She was pretty good.

But their chance of winning was almost zero. Halos puro Turned na lang ang nakikita n'ya dahil outnumbered na sila masyado. Maraming mga Sentry at estudyante na ang namatay and the Turned just kept coming.

"Getty, retreat!" tawag naman ni Rifka sa Turned na estudyante na nakikipaglaban sa mga kauri nito. But Gaius noticed that the girl couldn't kill the enemies. She just couldn't get the right shot.

Umatras sila at sumunod sa director nila na pumasok sa isa sa mga building doon.

"Kailangan nating makaalis dito," sabi ni Director Brisbois habang pilit na inaalis ang dugo mula sa mukha nito.

"Maghahanap po kami ng sasakyan sa labas," volunteer ni Gaius.

"Alright, Sentry Kühn."

These new students...they're traitors. They were sent here for a reason. They were there at the academy to take over.

"This has been fun but it's over now. My mother would be very proud of me," at humalakhak si Getty.

"Mother?" sambit ni Rifka.

"Why, Tamara LeBlanc, of course."

Napasinghap sila sa sinabi ng babae. So, this was part of Tamara's plan. All of this was all well thought.

"Ms. Adson, put your weapons down before I... ugh!"

"No!" sabay-sabay na sigaw nilang mga Pureblood nang bigla na lamang bumaon ang espada ni Getty sa dibdib ng director. And as if that wasn't enough, she aimed the sword at the woman's neck.

Mabilis na kumilos sina Rifka at Gaius. She tried to save the director pero hinarang sila ng mga Turned na estudyante and by the time that they finished them off, the director's head was already rolling on the floor, her lifeless eyes wide open.

"Oh my god," natutop ni Rifka ang bibig. Agad naman itong niyakap ni Gaius.

They couldn't believe what just happened. Sa isang iglap lang ay wala na si Director Brisbois.

"Now, your turn," malademonyo ang ngisi ni Getty nang balingan sila nito. Sinenyasan nito ang isang kasama na lumapit sa malaking pinto doon. And he unlocked it.
