~George weasley x reader love story~
What she thought was a normal life became more eventful than she thought it could.
Finding out she's a Lovegood and meeting loads of new faces is only the beginning of her adventure, until a certain red head fa...
A trip to Diagon alley was overdue at this point, But as much as I hated going shopping, I needed to collect all of my school supplies for this year, beginning with my textbooks, cauldron, robes and of course my wand.
First things first were to collect my wand. I entered Ollivanders shop and saw that it was dimly lit and dust lingered in the air, tickling the back of my throat which caused me to cough. It echoed.
At the moment no one was in here with me which gave the store this uneasy feeling, until out of nowhere an old, wrinkled male came out from amongst the shadows and said in a quiet, raspy voice.
"Hello child, what can I do for You today?"
"Hello sir, I'm looking to buy a wand," I replied. He looked over at me with a confused gaze until he had finally seen me properly in the light.
"It can't be surly, Y/n Lovegood." I looked at him sheepishly before replying "Yes sir that's me, I'm starting to get used to people calling me that..." I trailed off.
Ollivander smiled down at me before turning around on his heels to walk towards the closest shelf to him before slowly removing a box from the many other boxes stacked up together, filling the space up as he then placed a wand in my hand.
"Go on, give it a flick."
I did as told and ended up smashing a vase over at the window causing me to quickly place the wand back on top of his desk before apologising to him over and over again.
"No worries, child. Never liked that vase anyway...How about this one?" He placed another wand in my hand and I studied it. It looked stunning...

《Your wand above》 ^ Brown oak wood, with a metallic shine to it when exposed in broad daylight.
It had some pretty patterns along with the handle of it which only added some character to it. Finally, a beautiful blood-like Ruby played at the end of the wand to top It all off.
It was truly magnificent.
"This wand your holding is unique yes, however, do not be fooled by its beauty as this wand can be extremely powerful, only to be used in the darkest times when most needed." He finished However I was still caught up in admiring the piece in my hand.
I gave it a flick, instantly feeling a warm tingle overtakes throughout my body whilst my hair had flown backwards a little as if a breeze had come in somehow.
I smiled down at my wand happy to know I was an owner of such a delicate piece, so precious.
I paid him with some gallons I had then returned out into the overcrowded alleyway to collect the rest of my belongings needed.
I went into a pet store filled with animals from top to bottom such as toads, owls, snakes, even cats! I walked towards the owl's section, staring in awe at all the lovely birds displayed before me. It wasn't until I got near the end that a particular owl caught my eye.

It had ombŕe feathers and the most gorgeous, baby blue eyes I've ever seen.
The owl looked out at me after plucking its feathers. "Excuse me miss, how much for this owl?" I asked not being able to take my eyes off the bird. "12 gallons" she stated simply.
I paid the lady and watched her carefully take hold of the owl to place him into my newly bought cage.
I held onto the cage looking into the owl. "It said you were a male on your label, but what to call you..." I thought for a moment until a name shot into my head. "Striker," I said, snapping my fingers together making a click sound.
Striker flapped his wings in an approving way towards the name for him. All that was left to do was collect my books and get my robes fitted.
---------▪----------▪----------▪---------
After a long painful trip getting all my robes fitted and books bought, I decided to stay the night at a pub called the leaky cauldron so that I could get to king cross station in the morning in time for the train.
Now that I was all packed and ready for tomorrow, I was now able to write a letter to Professor McGonagall to inform her of my presence this year. I was just hoping I wasn't too late...
I placed the brown enveloped letter in striker's foot and let him fly freely out the window out towards Hogwarts.
As soon as I had touched the bed I fell into a deep slumber. Shopping is tiring.
《 Meanwhile at Hogwarts 》
~Professer McGonagall's pov~
I practically ran towards Dumbledore's office letting myself in, most likely disturbing The professor before saying
"Professor Dumbledore, There is a new student that would like to start her first year at Hogwarts this year as part of the 5th year."
He looked up from his writing/work and said "Wonderful and who may this be, Minerva?"
"Emm...miss Y/n Lovegood it states here...but that can't mean surely-"
But before I could finish my sentence, I was cut off by Dumbledore's loud gasp.
Now completely standing up he said "Indeed it does, This will be the year where two young females life will change forever, when she turns up please escort her to my office where I will sort her into her house...she's bound to have questions to ask and I shall give her the answers."
"But Albus, is she not too late to attend this year?" I asked with worry.
He stood in place and thought about it for a moment. "I'm willing to take her on Minerva, for the sake of her sister who I'm sure she has suffered enough without."
I simply nodded in agreement before saying "Very well" and dismissed myself from his office to send a letter back to her with the following instructions for when she arrives.
