Fall

I couldn't help but smile to myself as the girl I still have yet to know set her hand on the door handle right before pausing.

"Before I let you out promise me something."

"Ok?"

"Promise me that you will listen to whatever I tell you."

"Ok. But why are you letting me out?"

"I want you to remember your past, and in order for you to remember then we have to go back to the very beginning. To the beginning on where we first met."

I wasn't Petrova. I was just a small town girl who looks like her, hopefully this small trip that we are taking will help her realize that. But once she does, what will happen to me? Surely she will take responsibility for what she has done?

"Ok and were might that be?"

"Stay by my side, do as I say and you will find out."

I nodded my head in confirmation as she slowly opened the door. My excitement got the best of  me as I dashed outside but as I was running I slowly began to realize something...

My speed wasn't normal, in fact I felt like I could begin a race with a pack of wild cheetahs and win. However my overconfidence dimmed as I saw a flash of blonde hair zoom past me making me frown deeply as I begin to slow down.

"Awe your not stopping already are you?"

I couldn't help but puff out my chest as I suddenly became competitive. I won't let her win! Dashing forward I quickly catch up with her seeing a smug look on her face as our speed suddenly became matching, however the sound of a deer rubbing its antlers against a tree caught my attention.

In a blink of an eye I found myself on top of that same deer with my newly found fangs in its neck drinking its warm sweet blood. Power overcame me, my senses grew stronger, I felt good more then good.

"Well this is different."

I became nervous as I quickly let go of the deer making me shuffle a bit.

"Ah sorry. I just, I was hungry..."

"Eh. Blood is blood it really doesn't matter where you get it from but human blood is better. At least from the source it is."

"So it doesn't matter where I drink from?"

"Hmm I don't see why not? I'm just surprised. Anyway should we get going? We are almost there."

I smiled as she continued to lead the way. Maybe I could live peacefully by feeding off of animals without becoming a monster? hours past by in silence, I begin to grow impatient not to mention I was bored out of my mind.

"Are we there yet?" She didn't answer. Anger  overcame me as I harshly grabbed her arm forcing her to turn around and face me when suddenly she pinned me against a nearby tree and kissed me.

I couldn't feel my heart pound like when Nature kissed me the night at the hotel, I couldn't feel any warmth. All I felt was adrenaline. I felt the need to be dominant. I didn't want to be controlled. And yet, she was far more stronger then I was which angered me even more.

When she removed her lips I could see a small glint shining in both her eyes as her grip around me tightened.

"Feeling frustrated? You have no idea how long I have waited to do that..."

"Lenora, I'm surprised to see you. And who might this be?"

Looking away from the girl I now know as Lenora I spot a girl with long flowing silver hair shining beautifully in the crescent moon light.

It was her. The girl from Petrova's Journal.
