Author's Note:

Lots of weird action in this chapter. You'll find out why I called it 'weird action'. It has something to do with a ruler.

I hope you like this chapter. Don't forget to vote and comment. :)

DAVE.

Melanie had just run through the mirror.

She just claimed that she was a vampire and a demon.

        She has my parents.

She turned my brother into a vampire.

Someone please tell me I was going crazy. Going crazy felt way much better than having to face this reality.

Suddenly, Jerrick rose up. He was finished feeding on Jacob's corpse.

'How do you like me now?' He asked, a smile on his face.

Fear clenched my stomach. His pupils were dark red, his mouth and face smeared with Jacob's blood. His long claws were also stained with blood.

All of a sudden, Zac lunged at him. He was holding my old baseball bat in his hands. I forgot I had kept that under my bed.

Before he could strike, Jerrick spun around and punched Zac. Zac flew across the room and crashed into my closet.

Suddenly, Jerrick rose. He levitated over the floor.

'He can fly?' I heard Stacey gasp.

        He flew straight towards me.

He grabbed onto my neck with one hand and pulled me up into the air with him.

        'N-No,' I gasped, 'Air!'

I couldn't breathe. I gasped and gasped for air, but his grip kept tightening around me.

My vision started to blur. My whole body felt numb.

Suddenly, Jerrick screamed an ear-shattering scream. He let go of me and my back hit the floor.

Jerrick fell onto the floor next to me.

I gasped in thankful breaths of air.

What happened? Why did he let go of me?

I looked at Jerrick. A knife was sticking into his back.

        'What happened?' I asked.

'I did it,' Kelly said. 'Zac's pocket knife.'

        'Is he... dead?' Stacey asked.

Zac groaned. He was probably regaining consciousness. After he hit the closet he had blacked out.

I got up and leaned over Jerrick's body.

        'I think he's dead,' I said.

I could hear Kelly's sigh of relief.

What would Mom and Dad say about this? I thought.
