Authors POV

Blossom was at work typing her next story.

She heard some giggling and looking up to what it was all about.

When she looked up she saw Brick talking to some girls that worked with her.

She couldn't help but feel a little mad well she's like that with all of her friends.

It normal to her.

She saw Brick glance at her and the faces of the girls changed from flirty to sadness.

She smiled a little knowing it was her who caused it.

Brick walked up to her and had a smile on his face.

"What are you doing here?" Blossom couldn't help but ask. That just caused  Brick to chuckle

"I saw the address on you papers, that's how I found out." He explained.

Blossom smiled and looked behind him to see some girls glaring at her. "They're cute girls." Blossom pointed out

When Brick turned back the girls glare turned into sweet smiles and waved.

"Yeah... they're just not my type." Brick looked back at her.

Blossom nodded and went back to typing.

"What is that about?" Brick asked as his attention was at the screen.

"It's a story I need to turn in to get payed." Blossom explained as she continued typing.

"You didn't answer my question." Brick said as Blossom had to think about it until she realized what he asked.

"It's about... well... basically people out there are persuaded that the people that hurt them the most are their soulmate or are needed the most." Blossom tried to explain

"So it's about getting it staying into a abusive relationship." Brick said knowing where she was getting at.

Blossom nodded as he was correct.

Brick thought about it a little. Remembering how Blossom said Aku was a jerk.

Would that mean he would be persuading her into a toxic relationship.

Blossom soon noticed that he was zoned out.

"Brick?" She said as she moved her hands in front of him.

"Wh... what?" He said as he was back in reality

"You zoned out." Blossom told him as she put her hand on his.

He looked down to see her hand on his. He smiled and placed his other hand on top of hers

He tried so hard to stop smiling but couldn't she made him smile.
