Blossom's POV

I was at home watching some news

I couldn't help but feel jealous as I see people on t.v. Them talking about the interesting stuff

While I'm here writing stuff trying to get where they are.

I took note on what they were doing so that I have tips for the future.

Hopefully.

And to my luck my boss called as if I wasn't thinking about my job right now.

"Hello?" I asked answering the phone and still paying attention to the television.

"Hi Blossom. I have a question I was meaning to ask."

That got my attention

"Yeah. What is it sir?" I asked possibly getting a little worried.

"How would you feel about being on t.v?" My eyes shot open as I was possibly getting a moment on t.v

This is huge especially for a journalist.

"Really?" I shuttered as I was still shocked by his question.

"Yes. My actual reporter is sick and your the best I got." I smiled bright. I'm the best he got!

"Can you give me a minute real quick?" I asked as he said sure.

I muted my call and stared squealing.

I couldn't help it. This is my dream to be a tv reporter.

I quickly unmuted the call and coughed.

"Yeah sure! When do I need to be there?" I asked not really caring.

"Tomorrow at 5:oo am." My eyes widened. That's to early for me but you gotta do what you gotta do.

"Ok I'll be there." I smiled as I hanged up my phone.

I threw it on the couch and started squealing again.

My doorbell rang.

I straightened my outfit so it doesn't look like I was jumping around my house.

I walked to the front door and looked through the peep hole.

I smiled when I saw Brick.

I opened the door and hugged him.

I knew he was shocked but I didn't care because IM GOING TO BE A REPORTER!

"What's this?" He asked looking confused

I brought him into my house and closed the door.

"I'm going to be on TV!" I squealed again

I could see the smile on his face as he hugged me again. "That's awesome!"

"I know!" I said cockily.

He rolled his eyes but soon smiled again.

"What time is your showing?" He asked as I smiled again.

"It's at 5:00 am." I said hesitantly

He nodded as he gave me one last hug. "I'll make sure to wake up early to watch it." He whispered

I couldn't help but blush.

"Thanks that means a lot." I said as I walked to the kitchen to get some water.

"Can I get a beer?" Brick asked as I nodded and grabbed one.

I passed it to him and then took a sip of my water.

"So what's up with you?" I asked still smiling.

"Nothing? But it does look like I'm going to be going to a interview."I awed as I was proud

"So your trying to get a job?" Of course I asked the obvious question

He nodded and sipped his beer.

"Looks like we're all getting a big promotion!" I said as I saw his choke on his beer.

"What's wrong?" I asked worried.

He looked at me nervously. "Nothing..." he said.

I looked at him suspiciously.

"Okay?..." I said walking towards him to get my phone on my couch.

"I gotta text my sister about the news!" I mumbled as I started to text in our group chat.

"Can you pass me the remote?" I grabbed the remote and passed it to him.

My eyes didn't leave my phone.

Soon I heard the tv change to Men In Black.

I looked up and smiled. "I love this movie!" I said

I placed my phone on the coffee table and sat back on the couch.

I felt Brick's arm behind me.

Not that it wrapped my shoulder but it was resting on the head of the couch.

I tried to get comfortable but by doing that I had to lay on Brick.

No way am I doing that!

Would he mind? I mean we've been good friends for 3 weeks.

I placed my head on his chest as I got comfortable. I could feel him tense up but soon I felt him relax

I smiled as he hand touched my shoulder and rub it as it felt like he was reassuring me.

We watched the whole series.

Talking and laughing just like friends do...

Right?
