Faye was shocked at what Chris had said to her, but she just assumed that it was a mistake - like when she had said it months ago. Although, since then there had been too many butterflies to count. Maybe she did love him.
She laughed it off, quickly returning to her performance. Coincidentally enough, the next song that she sang was the song she wrote about Chris when the two had admitted their feelings for each other.
