"This is Atlantis?" Sophie asked dejectedly. (Y/N) couldn't help but silently agree with her.

Alden had brought them to a lonely, barren island in the middle of nowhere, the entire thing basically made up of black rocks. The sea breeze chilled (Y/N) to the bone and whipped her hair and dress around, making it difficult to walk properly across the water slick rocks.

Alden had insisted that (Y/N) wear a long gown with black, jeweled flats to match.

The dress in question was a cyan blue, fading out near the bottom to become a bit more clear. The cloth was wrapped tightly around her torso, a single strap lined with jewels going over (Y/N)'s left shoulder. The jewels on the strap trailed down to the torso, making a sort of flowery design on it. The cinched waist was also lined with jewels. For the first time, (Y/N) was practically shining.

Except for the fact that the jewels all over the place made the dress extremely itchy.

It was official; (Y/N) hated dresses.

"This is how we get to Atlantis," Alden said, answering Sophie's earlier question.

While the female was silently questioning her life decisions, she heard a gasp from beside her. When she turned to look at where it came from, she was met with the sight of Sophie falling towards the rocks below her.

(Y/N)'s eyes widened with slight alarm, before Fitz caught her.

A smirk stretched it's way across (Y/N)'s face as she caught sight of Sophie's red face; a perfect match to her scarlet dress.

Sophie whispered something, and Fitz shrugged, saying something back that (Y/N) couldn't quite catch. Whatever it was made Sophie deadpan, and ditch Fitz to come towards (Y/N).

"Stupid boys," She muttered under her breath.

"Hmmm? And what exactly was going on there?" (Y/N) said, invading Sophie's personal space.

Sophie blushed a bit more, before glaring at (Y/N). "It was nothing, (N/N)."

(Y/N) opened her mouth once more, ready to embarrass Sophie further, when Sophie raised her voice to ask Alden a question.

"So, Atlantis really sunk?"

"The Ancients engineered the catastrophe," Alden explained, stepping over a tidepool towards a triangular rock. He opened a secret compartment in the rock, revealing hundreds of tiny glass bottles, all filled with a sort of substance. He grabbed one of them, and joined Fitz, Sophie, and (Y/N) on a ledge. "How else would humans think we disappeared?"

While Alden uncorked the vial, (Y/N) caught a line of words scrawled across the glass.

"One whirlpool. Open with care." She read under her breath, her eyes widening.

"Step back," Alden said, before chucking the bottle into the white-capped waves. The second in touched the water, the waves became wilder, churning and swishing until a whirlpool formed in the ocean. The wind became ten times worse, preventing (Y/N) from walking anywhere, or else be thrown into the oceans.

"Ladies first," Alden yelled over the din, looking at (Y/N) and Sophie before pointing to the edge.

"EXCUSE ME?!" (Y/N) yelled back, worried for Alden's sanity.

"Maybe you should go first, Dad." Fitz said from behind (Y/N).

Alden nodded, before flashing a quick smile and jumping off the edge and into the ocean. Sophie screamed.

It was nice knowing you, Alden. Rest in peace... (Y/N) internally thought.

Fitz laughed. Why you gotta laugh at our pain, man...

With a grin on his face, he grabbed (Y/N)'s and Sophie's arms, dragging them towards the edge. "Your guys' turns."

"Please tell me your joking," Sophie begged, trying to get away from Fitz.

"I told you, Sophie. I TOLD YOU THESE PEOPLE WOULD TURN OUT TO BE MENTALLY DISTURBED OR SOMETHIN'!"

Fitz paused, looking at (Y/N) with an offended look. "Excuse me?"

(Y/N) glared at him. "You heard it Pretty Boy. Now take it like a man."

Fitz stared at her for a second, before shaking his head. "You know what, nevermind. Just, just jump off."

(Y/N) gazed at him for a second, before a smile made its way on her face. "Fine," She said, shrugging. "Buuuuut... you're both coming with me."

And with that, she hooked arms with Fitz and Sophie, before jumping off the edge.
