Jealousy - Engineer x Reader x Scout

Holy shit I found this image online by searching up Scout vs Engineer tf2 and laughed for like a minute straight and had to share it with you guys like Scout looks like he's takin a psychedelic mushroom trip to The Void™ and Engi's looking at dat Bostonian ass like he's boutta pound it but anyway that's enough about my poor sense of humour let's get on with the story

'What da hell do ya think you're doin'?!' An angry Bostonian accent echoed through the hallways of the RED base.

'What am I doin'? I think you owe an explanation yourself, partner!' An equally furious Texan accent retorted.

'I don't gotta explain nothin' to ya! Just take a step back, yeah?'

'Why should I? It's not like you've claimed 'er or anythin'!'

'Well, she clearly likes me better! Bein' tall an' sporty an' athletic an' all! Da best you can do is fix a toaster!'

'Take that back, kid.' Engineer's voice dropped to a deadly whisper.

'Or what, egghead? Ya gonna throw a spanner at me or somethin'?' Scout mocked, sending Engineer into a barely controlled rage.

'I could crush you without blinkin'.' Engineer fumed, reaching for his Construction PDA on his belt. 'How'dya like to meet a sentry of mine?'

'Pfft, I could easily outrun that piece'a crap of yours.' Scout scoffed. 'And I bet dat (Y/N) would be so impressed dat she'd pick me.' He spun around to go back into the Rec Room before stopping and whirling around on his heel to look at Engineer one last time. 'So don't even think about flirtin' with her, 'kay?'

'Like you could stop me.' Engineer muttered under his breath, brushing past Scout and entering the Rec Room.

You were sat inside in the middle of the sofa watching (insert favourite film here - personally I'd go with Spider-man Far From Home that movie was fuckin great), completely oblivious to the argument that had just taken place about ten metres away from you. You looked up with your mouth full of popcorn as Scout and Engineer walked in, obviously quite angry with each other.

'Hey guys!' You grinned at them. It took you a few seconds to notice they both looked annoyed and were keeping their distance from each other. 'Uhh...is everything OK with you two?'

'Everythin's fine.' Scout said quickly.

'Really? Have you guys been fighting again?' You asked, tilting your head at them with a compassionate expression on your face. 'Do you need marriage counselling? We wouldn't want the kids growing up with their parents at each other's throats, would we?'

Engineer chuckled at your joke, although it did sound a bit forced. You waved off the though however, when he sat down next to you.

'Don't worry darlin', there's nothin' wrong.' He said with a smile and a pat on your shoulder. This earned him a glare from Scout (which you missed) and he mouthed 'you're dead to me' at Engineer.

You looked up at Scout, who was standing in the middle of the room and waved at him. 'Are you gonna sit down or not? The best part of the movie is almost starting!' You patted the sofa cushion next to you, but Scout shook his head.

'I'mma go get some food first.' He said, stomping out of the room and slamming the door behind him angrily. Not that you noticed of course, since you were so invested in the movie you were watching.
