Author's Note
This is more of an introduction of who you are in this story and your abilities.
Spider Man's Instant Kill activation inspired me to create this character.
I do not however, intend of copying or copyrighting that. I respect the original look that Spider Man has. Maybe in the future when this story gets more bigger I can create an illustration of what exactly you're supposed to look like (silhouette).

This is quite a long chapter but only because it's more of an introduction.
Enjoy.

Chapter One
~Royalty to the Stars~

Thousands and thousands of years ago, the Gods threw the core of a dead star into the Earth. The core is expanding everyday and when it gets too big, it will explode beneath ground and release all it's power.

The core of a star is hardly visible to the naked eye, and as it expands, it's power and energy grows and comes to existence.

It was just the size of a tennis ball when it exploded on a morning you won't ever forget.

1993, you were 13 at the time, walking to school early in the morning where no one would have witnessed it.
Actually, it's better off that no one witnessed it, despite the pain you were in, you couldn't help but think how beautiful the golden light was as it danced upon your skin.
It's almost like it was healing you. This golden energy was the power from the core.

When the explosion went off, it's shrapnel pierced your back (because you were facing your back toward the explosion in the first place) and the core's power had forged the shrapnel into four large claws.

In your opinion, you looked like a monster at first. But you got used to it and found a signature look.

On your command, the claws shoot out. You've tried to see the logic in this, and you've had several unanswered questions - how do they fit in your back? Are you part robot now, since that these claws are made of metal and your back is steel hard? What is the purpose of these claws when you can't even fight? Did I accidentally live? Am I supposed to be dead?

Soon, all your questions were, in fact, answered.
Odin had heard of this rare (you're the only one who had gone through this though) incident. For he was one of the Gods who threw the core into the abyss.
He didn't know it would actually end up somewhere, like a whole planet where people live.

By the end of 1993, you were 14, and in Asgard, quite regularly.
There, they answered your questions.

"Does it hurt sometimes?"

Odin asked, you sat on the golden steps of the Throne Room as he sat upon the Throne.

"You already know it's does, don't you?"

"Y/N, this is something that can't be undone. It's irreversible. Where you come from, they say it's a coincidence. But here, we say it's fate".

You looked up at him with furrowed brows.

"What do you mean by that?"

"You are the only being that holds the power of a star's core".

"I still can't help but think that I'm supposed to be dead".

Odin silenced to this. He was trying his best to make you feel better about this quite extraordinary case.

"Y/N there is something you must know. We found out yesterday and I don't know any other way to tell you. So here is goes".

You stood from the steps and faced Odin as he took a deep in, then out. And he continued.

"The claws are, literally, keeping you together. The core's shell that pierced your back -

"Shrapnel?"

You interrupted.

"Yes. The power of the core used the shrapnel to forge these claws in order to keep your body together. To keep you alive".

"So...."

You trailed off.

"I am supposed to be dead".

Odin saw the disappointment in you. But he didn't want you to feel that way. You hold the rarest power in the universe.

"No. You are Royalty to the Stars, Y/N. Whether you will use that title or not. It is all in your choice".

Royalty to the stars? What's that even mean?

You were taken back home, it's like you were gone from Earth for just a few seconds.

You accepted this. The claws came in handy, actually.
They were flexible enough to grab things from a distance or when your hands were already occupied.
You'd hang in a private place and lay down as if you were in an invisible hammock. No effort at all, just the good strength of your claws were never letting you down.

Your claws were like a cocoon, they'd protect you during your fall, so all you'd do is roll along the ground as the claws wrapped themselves around your body.

Sometimes when you couldn't sleep - that would happen a lot because of the cramps on your back - you'd go outside and lay upon the grass. There, you would look up at the night sky and remember what Odin called you.

You are Royalty to the Stars

Whatever it was supposed to mean, you didn't want anything to do with it. Because you were just a kid. You wanted to live an ordinary life and stay in school, move on and forget that you even have claws that shoot out of your back!

The one thing you couldn't deny was the fact that sometimes you felt like the stars were calling you.
It's sounds strange, yes. But maybe that's why you couldn't sleep some nights. It wasn't your back. But the stars, or whatever is out there, was calling you. Almost looking for someone to rule them or something. At least that's what you felt in your heart.
