This is the second book I've wrote and completed. I know the grammar and format isn't everything, I apologize for that. I honestly rushed this book and finished within a short period. Anyone reading please ignore the cringe. It has an amazing plot and I know for a fact you will love it. As for now I will not be reviving this book, I'm tooo lazy lol. Without further ado, I present Retribution! Enjoy❤️

"Daddy, I'm tired now." I groaned trying to sit down. He wanted to dance all around the kitchen for some unknown reason.

"Come on babygirl, just sing this part for me." My dad begged grabbing my hand.

"Who can I run to, to fill this empty space with laughter? Who can I run to, when I neeeed loooove." I sang as he spun me around.

"Beautiful voice." He smiled looking at me.

"Why, thank you." I plopped down on the couch.

"When are you going to finally do something with it?"

"Never, it's only for your ears."

"It can be for others too." He pointed out.

"Next subject please."

"Okay." He held his hands up.

"How was your day?" I asked.

"Stressful."

"When are you finally going to step down from that shit dad. It's not safe, I'm scared every day for you."

Carlos Hogan biggest kingpin in Atlanta. He's been doing it since I was born and I'm 22 now. I don't like it and never have, but he's an old grumpy man who doesn't want to listen to his daughter.

"Soon babygirl, I promise."

"Don't make a promise you can't keep."

"Have I ever broke one?"

"No, but-"

He cut me off. "No but's, Luna. Now, may have this dance one last time."

I laughed standing up. "Yes, you may."

"I love you." He kissed my forehead.

"I love you to always."

"And forever." He finished swaying us around.

I walked along the trail until I found my destination. I took out my blanket and placing it on the ground, sitting in front of the headstone. "In loving memory of Carlos Ray Hogan. June 11, 1981~December 8, 2018. A loving and caring father, brother, uncle, and friend."
