Quote: "I stay in France. Better to be the Queen of the Village...Than a servant in a Kingdom", unquote, (French actress Emmanuelle Beart, August 14, 1965-).

Lady Emily Forsythe grew up in London Village in 1851.

Her parents Donald and Fanny Forsythe, both 22, grew up in London.

Originally from Scotland, they fled in 1845, at the height of the potato famine. After a lot of people died, they relocated to England where they could bring up their baby daughter, and have a better life. Donald was a writer; Fanny was a artist.

And, as the young family, who were 16 at the time, made a name for themselves, they were popular.

But, by 1858, Donald and Fanny, now 19, committed suicide.

And, as the Scotland Yard Detectives bashed down the door, they saved Emily, who was now 7. And, as she cried "Mommy! Daddy!", her life was changed for the worse, not the better.
