Those icy green eyes was what he remembered the most.

Optimus sat on top of base looking out into the sunset. Remembering their best memories but also the worst

"Come on I got to tell you something!" Firestorm said happily

Optimus smiled. An actual smile. It was a rare occurrence.

"I will meet you up there"

Firestorm giggles and walked over to the elevator. Heading on top of the base

Optimus walked back over to the groundbridge control and finished up the Iacon codes. Slowly turned off the councils for the night. He looked over towards the human area and saw them asleep. All huddled up on the couch.

He turned around and headed towards the elevator. The door opened and then closed. Lifting him up to the roof

The roof opened slowly dust falling down from the old structure.

Stepping off the elevator onto the hard ground Optimus looked around for his life long Amica Endura

But she was no where. The blue green mustang wasn't in sight.

"Firestorm?" He yelled. Beginning to walk around looking for her.

"If this is some kind of joke it's not funny." He sighed.

Nothing

"Firestorm this is not laughing matter" he yelled

Nothing still

He began to panic.

The stars began to show themselves to this side of the world.

"Firestorm!" He called.

Dead silent

He trotted back over to the elevator. Heading back down towards the council to find her life single. Sleeping softly but heading there quick. He turned on the computer and all the life signals showed up.

But hers was static.

"No" he whispered

He put his digit to his helm

"Firestorm, com-"

The kids stirred awake.
