today was the first day at my new college and i was going to have to see my ex, marty. i used to be in love with him until he cheated on me with some other girl, i can't even remember her name which just goes to show that i don't like thinking about it.

but anyway, i went to my dorm and i was shocked to see who it was. i instantly ran to my best friend, cyrus goodman.

"oh my god cyrus! i've missed you so much! how are you?"i asked.

"i'm doing great, how are you?"he asked.

"i'm doing good, i just found out this jerk goes here,"i replied.

"oh, marty?"he asked.

"nah, the mail man i used to date goes here,"i said sarcastically. he laughed and just stared at me, a way i've never really seen before.

then, all of a sudden, starts leaning in and my eyes widen.

"um, cyrus?"i asked and then he broke out of whatever trace he was in.

"i'm so sorry buffy,"he said and my cheeks started to warm up and my mind just started going crazy at me.

'why did you blush?!'i thought.

i just put my stuff away and got my side of the dorm ready.

i left the dorm to go look around the place. i looked around and i saw interesting things.

but then i bumped into the last person i would ever want to bump into or ever see again.

marty.

i just kept walking and then i felt him grab my wrist, tightly.

i sighed and then i just turned around.

"what do you want?"

"i just want to talk,"he replied and i rolled my eyes.

"there is nothing to talk about marty, i've moved on, you should too,"i said.

"who says i haven't?"he asked.

"well, i didn't know! it doesn't seem like it! and the way your grabbing me... can you let me go?"i asked.

his hand let go of my wrist, and i held on to it, because it felt a little sore.

"i honestly just wanted to know if we could at least try and be friends?"he asked and my eyes widen.

"i... guess we can,"i replied and then i walked off.

i walked back to the dorm and i entered, noticing cyrus was gone and that he fixed up his side and cleaned up a bit as well.

i just sat down on my bed and i felt a little tired now just realizing what time it was.

8:45pm.

i had gotten ready for bed in my pj pants and my white tank top.

but then cyrus finally came in and was staring at me but i didn't notice, i just started to talk.

"so did you enjoy looking around?"i asked, putting my hair in a messy bun.

"um, yeah...,"he said and when i tried to pick up something on the bed, i felt his strong arms around me suddenly.

"u-uh... c-cyrus?"i stuttered as his nose was against my neck.

"buffy...,"he started as he just turned me around and pressed his lips against mine.

i was shocked at first but then i melted into the kiss.

he pulled away and said,

"i love you, buffy."
