it was time to say goodbye. goodbye to everything i knew, everyone i knew, and start a new chapter in my life. i put the last of my things in my mother's car, staring at the 'for sale' sign in front of our house and i sighed, getting into the car.

it was going to be a four hour car ride so i just sat back and relaxed a little. I was extremely anxious about a new school and a new house, mainly just everything, but you know, i have to get used to change. because i know it'll happen a lot.

i put my headphones on and played a few games on my phone. after a while, i just stared into the window, watching the trees and cars pass by and my heart races a little more, knowing the closer we get. but watching it for a while made me drowsy and i was knocked out within a few seconds.

once i woke up, i rubbed my eyes and my mom was still driving, i looked out the window to see that there were now more homes than trees and cars. we were close to our new house. i haven't been able to see it yet myself so it's a surprise to me.

after a good 30 minutes, we finally arrived to our new house and i had to wake up my dad in a very weird way since he's a heavy sleeper. but anyway, we started emptying out the car and made our way inside, mom leading me to my new room and it looked very nice.

i kept going up and down the stairs to collect my things and to start unpacking.

after a while we were finally done and i got my things ready to start school tomorrow. i went into our new bathroom and took a shower, after getting out, i changed into my pajamas and went to bed.

i was already sitting at the table, eating cereal and had my orange juice next to my bowl, waiting for my mom who was changing upstairs.

went she was finally done, we were 15 minutes early and she wanted to get down there early, not wanting to school to think that i was a student who was never on point or on time.

when we got there, there was already a few students going inside. she and i walked to the principal's office and i felt eyes on me and that gave me a little bit of anxiety.

i hugged my mom as i went into class and she left, myself walking into my first period, seeing some students jotting down notes and others about to fall asleep but then they all woke up and everyone's eyes were on me, my heart starting to race.

but i noticed a boy that i made mutual eye contact with and he was very cute.

i sat down in a seat in front of him and what i didn't realize that he was still staring at me, despite the lesson starting.
