today was going to be the day. i'm going to break up with him. don't get me wrong, i loved being with him but i just don't feel happy in the relationship and i need some time to myself. i already called him and we were going to meet at my house. i wasn't home since i went out with my mom.
once she and i came back, cyrus was already waiting outside the door and mom unlocked the door and went inside. cyrus was going to follow her but i stopped him.
"hey cyrus, we need to talk,"i said.
"i know, that's why i came,"he said, kissing my cheek and i moved away a little.
"cyrus... i'm breaking up with you,"i said and i noticed tears brimming in his eyes.
"why? could you please explain?"he asked.
"because i just don't feel happy in this relationship,"i replied.
"did i not make you feel happy enough?"he asked and i nodded, a tear running down his cheek.
"i understand, i hope you find someone better and they make you feel happier since i obviously couldn't,"he said and started to walk away.
but then i grabbed his arm and pulled him into a hug. i felt very bad but i just didn't feel happy enough with him so i had to do what had to be done.
"i'm so sorry, but never forget that i loved you."
