I'll look at myself
A N D C R Y
feel the texture of the walls
as I slowly fall down to the floor.
Feel my lungs gasping for air when I stop breathing remind me, remind me please how to breath.
I'll hug myself when your not there, I rock back and forth as I feel my heart pounding why can't you hear me cry?
Tears fall faster down my cheek like rain rolling down the windshield of my car as I try to wipe them all away but I can't ignore them anymore.
What's happening to me?
I turn on the water
I feel the water going down my back as I step in the shower. I cry so hard I don't know what is water and what is my tears.
You open the door and I stop crying behind the shower curtain.
You start talking
and you don't hear my pain
The rasp in my voice from crying too long.
You never will hear me
behind closed doors will you?
