It was the big day. Your first shift at your new office job.
You pulled up to the building, nervous as ever, but excited.
You walked through the double doors, up to the reception desk.
"How can I help you ma'am?" The man said, sitting there.
"Hi my name is y/n y/l/n"
"Oh yes. I'll call up and let Mr. Adams know that you're here. You can take a seat"
You nodded at the man, and headed over to the sitting area.
All types of feelings overwhelmed you. Anxiousness, anxiety, excitement. You had been waiting for this job for what seemed like years.
It was definitely a long time coming. They had taken quite awhile to get back to you after you had applied. But the moment was finally here.
"Hello Ms. y/n?" A soft voice spoke to you.
You turned around to see a man holding out a hand to you.
"I'm Felix, it's a pleasure to meet you"
You stood up, greeting him at well. "Nice to meet you"
"This way" He smiled and motioned for you to follow him.
The two of you walked until you reached a large office. It was nice. It made you dream of what yours would look like. Excitement filled your body as you imagined decorating it the way you wanted.
"Take a seat please" He motioned to the chair right before his desk.
"Your office is nice" You commented.
"Thank you" He smiled. "So essentially.. today's your first day correct?" He interrupted himself.
"Yes sir" You nodded.
"Okay so we'll just go over your roles here. You know you're in charge of ordering our products.."
"Yes"
"Great! I'm super excited to have you here. Our last worker wasn't very enthusiastic about the job.. and quit without any notice" He added.
"But you seem to be fairly ambitious from what you resume entailed" He smiled at you, making sure his papers were inline.
"Thank you. That means a lot" You smiled, letting him know your gratitude.
