"Can we talk please?"

You kept you head on your work desk as Corbin begged for your attention.

"What is there to talk about?"
You asked him.

"I miss you y/n.. I made some mistakes and I'm sorry"

"I don't do cheaters"
You responded, raising your head to look at him.

"Can we talk over lunch?"

He wasn't going to let this go easily.

"I don't need to talk to you"

"I won't settle for no though"
He said, pouting at you.

"I have lunch plans already, thanks"

"Then I'll talk to you now"
He took a seat in front of you.

"Corbin"

"I'm sorry for what I did. I don't know how many times I need to apologize"

You rolled your eyes at his stupidity.
Apologies don't make up for cheating.

"I forgave you. But that doesn't mean that I want you back.."

"I was so foolish. I love you y/n.. I can't imagine my life without you..

It was well into December now, making it a few weeks since the breakup.

Although, it wasn't really getting any easier, as you had hoped.

You saw Corbin nearly Every day.
And each day, he would do this.

Mingi knew that you still ran into him at work.

He wasn't too fond of it.
That's when he decided that he'd be spending his lunch breaks with you.

In fact, he would be here at any moment.
If Corbin was still in your office, he would be pissed.

When Corbin found out about you and Mingi, he was pretty upset.
That's your theory as to why he's been more aggressive about getting back together.

He hadn't met Mingi while the two of you were dating. But the fact that he had been your best friend for so many years had Corbin feeling some type of way.

Your office phone began to ring.

You hushed Corbin, and picked up the phone.

"Hello?"
You spoke.

"Hey I'm almost to your office"

It was Mingi.

"Uhh okay"

"Is that alright?"
He asked you.

"Yeah that's fine"
You quickly hung up on him.

"Corbin you need to leave"

He looked annoyed.

"Is that him?"
He asked you.

"I'm serious, you need to leave"
You tried to pull him up from the chair, but he remained seated.

"I think it's time for me to meet the guy that replaced me"

You let your shoulders fall in disappointment.

"Please go.."

There was then a knock on the door.

You knew exactly who it was.

"I'll get it"
He jumped up, and sprinted to the door.

All you could think is how that would look. Him opening up the door for your boyfriend.

It was no use running after him, he was already there.

You sat on your desk, and watched him stand face to face with Mingi.

The look on Mingi's face showed absolute anger.
He already knew who it was, since this man was at work with you.

"I'm guessing you're Mingi?"
Corbin stood, puffing out his chest.

He was tall, but not quite as tall as Mingi.

He clearly felt threatened by his arrival.

Mingi looked over at you, visibly angry.

Without saying a word, he handed Corbin his bag of lunch, before walking away.

"Min"

You pushed your way through the door, and chased after him.

"I asked him to leave many times and he wouldn't. He just came in"

Mingi stopped and turned to you.

"Am I wasting my time y/n?"
He asked.

"No.. I didn't know that he would come in. He hasn't done this before"

"Right."

"Mingi, you come to lunch every day.. why would I let him in if I knew that you'd be coming in"

"Why was he the one to answer the door?"
He was still upset.

"Because he's childish and ran to the door before I could get there.

You took his hand and started leading him away from your office.

"I don't entertain him. Let's just go have lunch somewhere else"

"He has my lunch"
He reminded you.

"Well then either you can share mine, or we'll get something else"
