You sat at your desk, thinking about Mingi.

He barely said goodbye to you this morning.

You were a little upset in all honesty.

This kept happening.
It was almost as if you both were destined to fight all the time.

You tapped your fingers on the wood top on your work desk as you handled a phone call.

Your mind wasn't in it.

You went along with what the person on the other end of the line was saying, but it had no meaning to you right now.

You wanted it to be noon.
That way, Mingi would soon be coming to have lunch with you.

After taking your notes from the call, you hung up the phone.

You cracked opened your water bottle and took a sip, still thinking of Mingi.

If you loved each other, why was all this drama happening so much.

You picked up your phone and texted him.

You just wanted to let him know how excited you were to see him.

-

It was now approaching lunch time.

You still sat in your chair, awaiting your boyfriend to come join you.

Your main objective was to make your time with Mingi as normal as possible.

The whole counseling idea wasn't a bad one.

The two of you needed help.
That was obvious.

Communication is the biggest thing that you fail at with him.

It was something that had to be fixed in order for your relationship to even have a chance of surviving.

It was now awhile past the lunch hour.
You wondered what was taking him so long, but still had faith that he'd be there soon.

At this point you really didn't have a lot of time left to eat with him, but even a short while was better than no time at all.

You took out your phone to shoot him a message once more.

You waited.

There's no reason for him to not text you back.
His lunch hour was the same as yours.

-

Time had passed way too quickly.

Your break was over.
