You couldn't sleep.

That whole argument with Mingi continued to replay in your mind.

You picked up your phone and dialed his number.
He was mostly likely asleep by now, but you needed to talk to him.

They say never go to sleep angry or upset with someone.

It rang a few times, but no answer.
He didn't have his voice box set up, so you weren't able to leave a message for him.

You continued to lay there, letting the guilt eat you alive.

After awhile of this nonsense, you jumped out of bed and went into Chris and Emily's room.

You crept closer to her as she slept.

You didn't want to wake her, but you knew that you needed to get back to Mingi now.

"Em"
You whispered.

She squirmed a little, but didn't wake up.

"Emily"
You said again, slightly louder.

"What??"
She groaned.

She covered her mouth quick and looked over at Chris to assure that she hadn't woken him up.

"You're going to hate me.. but I need to go back home. I can't sleep. I'm-"

"I know. Because of what happened with Mingi?"
She rubbed her eyes.

"Mhm"
You confirmed.

"Okay"
She slowly began to get up.

"I'll go wait"
You said and headed for the door.

It didn't take her long before she was dressed and ready.

She had only thrown on a hoodie and sweatpants.

-

You later walked up to Mingi's door and turned the knob.

Locked.

He never locked his door, no matter how many times you told him that he should.

Why did he choose to now.

"Everything okay?"
Emily called from the car.

"Yes everything's fine, you can go!"
You waved a goodbye to her.

You then began to knock harder on the door.
Maybe that would wake him up.

Still nothing.

You sat down in front of the door and began to cry.

Now what?

You couldn't ask Emily to come back and get you.
Although she most likely wasn't that far away.

Sitting outside alone in the dark was terrifying.

You wanted Mingi to wake up and open the door.
It wasn't hot at night.
It was actually quite cool.

You'd been outside for nearly an hour before you decided to knock again.

At this point, you were practically pounding on the door.

Only a short while later, it opened.

You stopped yourself from nearly punching mingi in the face since you were knocking on instinct.

"Hi?"
He said.

"Hey"
You lowered your shoulders in relief.

"What are you doing?"

"I've been waiting for you to opened the door.."
You wrapped your arms around your body, trying to indicate that you were freezing.

He raised his brows in suspicion.
"At five in the morning? I'm literally going to work soon"

"I know. I've been here for awhile though"

His eyes widened.
"How long is awhile?"

"Over an hour"
You shook from how cold you were.

"Ahh"
He said.

"Do I have to ask to come in? I live here too"

"Yeah but I pay the rent"
He said.

"Are you serious Min"
You said quietly.

He stepped back from the door and allowed you to enter.

"Where are you going?"
You asked him as he walked further away from you.

"I'm getting ready for work, I already told you"

You removed your shoes and sighed.
"Can we just stay home today?"

"No. I sorta have bills to pay for"
He said.

"Mingi I'm sorry about before"

He turned to you with a shocked expression on his face.

"Wow, y/n? Apologizing to me?"

Sarcasm rung out from his mouth.

"I am sorry"
You repeated.

He yawned and continued to walk away.
"Alrighty"

"I get it okay, couples fight. 𝑊𝑒 fight.. but I'm so so sorry Mingi"

He stopped and turned back to you again.

"I remember when I said the exact same thing to you"

You nodded.
"It's True Min"

"I'm gonna be late"
He changed the subject.

"You don't have to leave for a little while though.."

He ended up leaving you momentarily anyway.

You stood by the door until he was done getting ready.

You thought that he'd stay awhile since he didn't need to be at work quite yet.

To your disappointment, it looked as though he was ready to leave right now.

You put your hands on his chest as he came closer to the door.

"I'm sorry"
You began to cry.

He stopped and lowered his head.
"I don't know what happened to us y/n"

He spoke as if he had given up.

"Me neither. But I do love you. And I want this to work"

He looked at you.
"Maybe we should do counseling.."

You took his hand in yours, tracing circles on his hand.
"Anything to fix this"
