You woke up in the middle of the night with some more pains in your lower stomach.

They were stronger than before.

You curled into a ball and took deep breaths.

The pains were spread out, so you didn't think it was labor.
You only assumed that it was stronger practice contractions.

You had closed your eyes in hopes to sleep more.

After what only seemed like a short while, you felt quite a bit of wetness between your legs.

You quickly sat up, but were stopped by the intense cramping feeling.

Your water had obviously broken.

"Mingi"
You groaned to him.

You could feel his body shifting toward you.

"Mhm?"
He laid an arm over you but must have felt it as well.

"Woah what?"
He jumped up and turned the lamp on that was beside the bed.

"I think I'm in labor Min"
You held onto your stomach.

You were told to time out the contractions and been keeping track of how far apart they were.

At this point they were about every seven to ten minutes apart.
Sometimes between ten and fifteen.

A lot closer together than before.

"Should we go to the hospital then?"
He knew that you initially had wanted to stay home as long as possible.

You didn't want to be there longer than you needed to.

The idea of being hooked up to monitors for hours and hours freaked you out a little.

Although, with how close these contractions were getting it was time to go.

*𝑳𝒂𝒕𝒆𝒓*

The two of you had already let the hospital know that you'd be coming in.

The ride was so uncomfortable.
Your contractions were every five minutes apart now.

For living in a big area, the hospital was actually quite a ways away from where you and Mingi lived.

"How you doin' babe?"
He laid a hand on yours and traced his thumb over your skin.

"It hurts like hell"
You had your eyes closed as you breathed through another contraction.

"I'm sorry"
He said with empathy.

"It's okay"

Once you made it to the hospital, Mingi came over to your side of the vehicle and helped you out.

A nurse came out of the doors with a wheelchair for you.

Walking through the pain was nearly impossible to do.
