"It'll be okay.."
Mingi comforted you.

You were at his house the morning after you had taken the test.

"Are you mad?"
You asked him.

"No."
He assured.

"I'm not ready for this Mingi"
You laid your head on his shoulder.

"Well.. we kind of have to be"
He ran his hand up and down your back.

"My parents are going to be so angry with me"

"Mine too"
He agreed with you.

Emily also came to mind.
She was going to be just as upset as your parents, if not more.

"I'll tell my family tonight"
He said.

"Me too I guess"

You stood, arms tightly wrapped around his body.

-

The two of you sat next to each other as you took turns telling your parents.

You didn't get much out of the conversation since parents decided that they were only going to speak Korean once they knew you were in the room.

A few words here and there you understood.
Mingi used to teach you random Korean words over the course of your friendship.

You could tell that he was upset.
He didn't even have the time to translate any of it to you.
They were going so fast, so he did as well.

It wasn't too long before he was hanging up on them.
He ran his fingers through his hair, then brought his fist down roughly against his leg.

"They sounded happy.."
You said sarcastically, trying to lighten the mood.

"So happy"
He looked down at the floor.

You weren't Korean. So that was another factor in this equation.

His parents were still traditional like that.
They wanted their sons with a Korean woman.
Yet that can be tough when you bring your family to America.

They never minded you as friends, but this clearly had them upset.

"My turn?"
You gave a nervous smile.

He nodded.

You tried to call your mom a few times, but she didn't pick up her phone.

She was most likely having a dinner date with her friends or something of that nature.

"She's still not answering Min"
You said after awhile.

"It's okay.. we'll try again later. You wanna go out to eat?"
He asked you.

𝐻𝑎𝑠 ℎ𝑒 𝑎𝑙𝑟𝑒𝑎𝑑𝑦 𝑓𝑜𝑟𝑔𝑜𝑡𝑡𝑒𝑛?

"Going out to dinner is the last thing that I want to do Mingi"

"Okay.. sorry"
He looked at you with innocent eyes.

"Are you going to be that angry pregnant woman?"
He added.

You rolled you eyes.
"Am I angry?"

He shrugged.
"You sound a little angry.."

"Uh no.. I just don't feel like going out"

"Okay.."
He responded to you.

-𝑨 𝒇𝒆𝒘 𝒘𝒆𝒆𝒌𝒔 𝒍𝒂𝒕𝒆𝒓-

You had been avoiding Emily ever since you found out that you were pregnant.

Your talk with your family was rough.
They were disappointed in you, but still said if you ever needed them, they'd be there.

Being about 2 months along now, you weren't big yet, but there was a slightly noticeably change in your figure already.

Mingi had been pressuring you a lot lately to move in with him.

He didn't want the two of you in separate housing with a baby.

All of it stressed you out.
The idea of packing up your things and moving to another place.

Your apartment wasn't that far from where he lived, so you really didn't want to, nor did you see the point.

After a long day of work, you sat on your sofa to relax.
You had recently gotten a new one.
It was more suitable for a mom to be.

The hours seemed to be flying by as you binge watched television.

There was a knock on your door, taking your attention away from your show.

You got up and went to see who it was.

Who else would it be right?

Mingi.
He had a few things with him.

You opened up the door, revealing a box of chocolates in one hand and a bouquet of roses in the other.

"What?"
You asked confused as to why he got you these.

"Happy Valentine's Day baby"
He squinted, seeing that you had totally forgotten about it.

"Oh my god.. Mingi I've been so out of it.. I'm sorry"

He smiled.
"I know you have. It's okay"
He then stepped inside and handed the items to you.

You inhaled the scent of the flowers.
They smelled amazing.

"I cannot believe that I forgot our first Valentine's Day together.."
You felt so bad about it.

"It's honestly okay y/n"

Mingi hung up his jacket.
The warmer months were starting to come back again already, being that it was florida.

"You're so sweet to me"
You kissed him.

"Anything for the love of my life"
He kissed you back, holding you close.
