The Hunters Association finally learn about the Chimera Ants, meanwhile Kite and the others met a large number of Chimera Ants...

A Chimera Ant frog landed in front Kite's group and told them 4 options. First option was to choose an order for a one-on-one battle, second and third option were quite similar which involved escaping, and the fourth option was to surrender and let the Ants capture them.

"We couldn't have asked for a better deal. One-on-one fights with their Captains. We'll start with who ever is prepared to fight." Kite said to the teens.

"I'll go." Killua said.

"No, I will." Gon said.

The two teens looked at each other and played rock-paper-scissors... And Gon won, making him go first.

"Well, we need to decide who to send from our side." An unknown Chimera Ant said.

A beetle shook a container and a piece of paper with the number 6 on it showed up.

A armadillo known as Baro showed up and cackled, "Lucky me!" He said and stood a few meters away from Gon.

"How will the victor be decided?" The male twin asked Baro.

"Eh? That should be obvious. Whoever dies first loses." The ant answered.

"We can't just surrender?" Gon asked which made some of the Chimera Ants gasp.

"What?! Are you crazy? If you lose, we'll feed you to the Queen. If you don't defeat me, you're guaranteed to die!" Baro exclaimed.

"Yeah, I'm okay with that. But there's no need for you to die. If I beat you, I won't want to eat you. If you surrender, you'll live. But if you lose, you must promise never to eat another human." Gon said in a serious tone which made Baro mad.

An ant started laughing and pointed at Gon, "This guy isn't taking us seriously!"

"He had more pep than any human I've seen! Lucky you, Baro!" Another Chimera Ant said.

"I'll kill you!" Baro yelled, curling into a ball and rolled towards Gon which luckily he dodges making Baro crash a tree. He uncurled himself and scoffed at Gon.

"You managed to dodge that one. Then how about this?" Baro once again curled himself into a ball and launch himself at Gon, Gon goes to avoid it by going to the left but then Baro uses his tail to change the same direction as Gon, and the two crash against a tall tree.

"Gon!!"

"I'm fine." Gon said once the dirt cleared.

Baro laughed, "Why are you so tough? By this point, the rest were vomiting organs. Whatever. Just need a few more times. There's no way to dodge my homing roll!"

'That is true. He only has to alter his course to match the direction Gon dodges. What will you do, Gon?' Kite wondered as they kept watching.

"Kid, I have something to tell you before I kill you. The main reason we kill humans isn't to eat them or to feed them to the Queen." Baro said.

"Then why?" Gon asked.

"Because it's fun! I love the sound as humans vomit their own organs with a plop! It's hilarious because it looks like barf." He replied with a evil grin.

"That isn't funny." Gon retorted and Baro curled into a ball and rolled towards his opponent.

"I'll make you vomit your own organs with a plop, too!" Baro yelled and used his tail to make himself go faster. Gon releases his aura which makes his twin and Killua smirk/smile.

Once the two made contact, Gon grabbed Baro and used his strength to not get pushed against the tree.

"He didn't dodge..." An ant trailed off.

"But stopped him." Another ant finished the sentence.

"Compared to Razor's spikes, this is nothing!" Gon yelled, lifting up Baro, and crushing his shell with all his strength.

Gon let go of Baro and well... He died making Gon win this round.

"Well, we're in a hurry. Who's my opponent?" The silver haired assassin asked stepping forward. The beetle shook the container and the paper had a number 3 on it.

"#3's up!"

A rhino stepped up, "Heh, you won't be smiling for long. I'm about to show you hell. Got it? I'm nothing like the trash over there." Rhino said, pointing at Baro's dead body.

"Trash?" The male twin asked.

"Huh? I said trash because he's trash."

The twin knit his brows together obviously mad.

"Tsk. I'm ten times stronger than that guy." Rhino said.

"Oh, that's nothing to brag about." Killua retorted with a smirk.

"What was what?!"

'When they enter battle, their aura becomes much stronger. They're at their best in battle. Gon tends to have an agitating slow start. But we should have time. We'll reach the Queen before she gives birth to the King. But why... Do I have such a bad feeling? I feel like I'm missing something. There's a gnawing anxiety that won't go away.' Kite thought.

7 minutes. That's how long Killua's fight lasted. All he had to do was to 'burn' Rhino's hard skin that was covering his heart and once Rhino's skin crack, Killua used his claws to stab his opponent's heart.

'This is a pleasant surprise. Their Captains can be dispatched easily enough.' Kite said in his mind as he saw his student stepped forward.

"Yosh! It's my turn! Give me someone strong!" [Name] said and the beetle shook the container. A paper with the number 24.

Their battle didn't last long though... It lasted for 2 minutes... But there was sure a lot of blood loss from the opponent.

'Am I worried over nothing?' The long white haired male asked, walking forward and with a sound of poof, appeared Kite's Crazy Slot. The beetle started shaking the container until the frog yelled,

"That's enough... It's my turn!"

"2!" The clown slot said and fog appeared.

"Two, huh? Damn, bad spin." Kite muttered.

"Killua..." Gon muttered, looking at Kite's weapon.

"That scythe is nasty." The assassin commented.

'Not really. It's quite pretty... Unless you're not the one getting killed.' The black-green haired female thought.

"[Name], Gon, Killua... In three seconds, jump up." Kite said, walking a few steps towards his enemies and then... He swung his scythe around.
Gon, Killua, and [Name] landed safely on the ground and they looked at the the dead Chimera Ants.

"This scythe can be used only with this technique. And it won't disappear until I've used it. It's such a drag..."

'So why did you choose that power?' Killua wondered.

"Be cautious as we advance. As I mentioned, that won't be enough to kill them immediately. Are you okay?" Kite looked at them, "It's only getting worse from here. If you start to sympathize with the enemy, you won't be able to handle what's coming."

"I'm fine. I have no sympathy for bugs that call each other trash." Gon replied with a face of disgust.

'That's a dangerous view. What would you do if one of those bugs cared for it's comrades?'

Kite, Gon, [Name], and Killua head toward the Chimera Ant Queen's castle to prevent the King's birth.
