The only sound remaining in this quiet cell are the sounds of my blood dripping onto the floor, and the muffled whimpers and sobs that escaped me, even with the gag tied securely over my mouth.
It's been a few days since my last visit from anyone, and it was also the day Taeyang whipped me with every ounce of anger and sadness he had left in him.
The girls hadn't visited me either, nor did President Yang. He seems to think I'm irrelevant to his plans.
At this point, I've given up hope that someone would come and save me, set me free, or put me out of my misery and kill me. I've put together that they want me to die a slow, painful death.
And yes, I am in pain.
My back is slashed open by the fury of the whip Taeyang used to torture me. My back is covered in bruises, cuts, and dried blood. Though, there is still fresh blood seeping from my wounds, though. I know that because of the dark red puddle under my feet that seems to be growing in size everyday.
I've cried everyday, thinking of the days before I was given the mission to execute Jungkook.
Me and the girls would have fun practising, the guys would fool around and we'd be beting each other's weapons and valuables for shits and giggles. But now those days are over.
The lock to the door screeches and I weakly lift my head. When the door opens, I've never been so happy to see someone's face in my whole life.
GD shoves Jungkook inside, his hands tied together by thick rope. He has a split lip and a bruise on his cheek, but otherwise, he looks fine. Just annoyed and tired.
GD plunks him down on a chair and proceeds to tie him up, then faces me.
His face is hard and expressionless, until it scrunches up and my head whips to the side, my right cheek on fire.
"Traitor." He growls before exiting the room, slamming the door shut behind him.
My chin trembles as I try to conceal the tears that are threatening to fall. A muffled whimper escapes my mouth and Jungkook's head snaps up in my direction.
"Lisa?" He asks quietly. I glance at him and try to pivot my body towards him, but pain shoots up my back and I grimace.
"What?" I let out weakly, my voice muffled by the gag. His eyes soften and his lips flatten into a line.
He looks away almost immediately. "I'm sorry you had to go through this." He says quietly. "I really am."
I nod and look away, more tears falling down my cheeks. I open my mouth wide and use my tongue to move the gag out of my mouth. I'm successful.
"Me too." I whisper quietly, just loud enough for him to hear me.
He frowns and looks up at me. "What do you mean?"
I sigh and tuck my bottom lip under my teeth to prevent a loud whimper from escaping me.
If I hadn't gotten any of the boys into this, Jungkook wouldn't be in here with me. He'd most likely be with his hyungs and contemplating which manoeuvre Taeyang would use to kill me and chuckling about it.
"No reason." I say, turning away from him. "You wouldn't care."
He stares up at me. "Just tell me, Manoban."
I stare ahead of me at the old wooden door, my energy too low to say anything. I look down and the pool of blood has gotten bigger, my toes swimming in it. It feels like my toes are coated in maple syrup.
"Lisa," he pushes, his voice a little softer, "it's okay, you can tell me."
I sigh, "If I had gone alone, you wouldn't be here." I whisper, my voice sounding frail and broken. "You could have been back with your hyungs right now, not in stuck here with me."
