Morgen's POV:
Ihzhak climbed in the front seat and quickly inserted the metal keys into the ignition. The car started without a fuss and hummed with the familiar thrum of life. It was a small car, a blue ford focus with leather seats and a black dashboard.
Alle quickly jumped in the passenger seat leaving only the back seat for me. I climbed in as well and Ihzhak quickly put his foot on the gas and drove, he drove like there was no tomorrow.
"Ihzhak, would you fucking slow down. I don't want to die!" Alle screeched as she held onto the handle above the window with a tight grip.
"Sorry." Ihzhak said as he began to eventually slow the pace of the car down.
"I'm just worried about her, what if she's hurt?" Ihzhak said. I know what he meant, I was shit scared about what we would encounter when we arrived at her old home. Like seriously, there would have been so many bad memories there, especially caused by her dad.
"I know the feeling dude, I know I don't know nearly enough about her past, but still, I am super worried." I commented. Alle gave me a sympathetic smile.
"Yeah, me too. Kimmy's been through so much shit in her life and now there's another on to add to the pile. I assume it's a problem or else she wouldn't have ran like that." Alle said softly.
I really felt bad for Alle and Ihzhak, yeah I know Kimmy went through a shit load more, but they had to hear stories about it and see the evidence and couldn't do anything about it. They had to watch their aunt and cousin cringe from wounds, they had to hear the awful stories about the ordeals and they still had to be at the funeral when they buried their aunt next to Perri.
.+.
"We're here." Ihzhak said. Ihzhak pulled the car into the driveway and turned the car off. He turned to me.
"Just try not to look around okay, you won't like what you see." Ihzhak warned me. I nodded.
"I'll try not to." he nodded and all three of us got out of the car and walked towards the front door that was half smashed up. We stopped Alle and Ihzhak looked very hesitant but eventually pushed the door open.
We walked through in a line, Ihzhak, Alle then me. I couldn't help it, my eyes were drawn to a particular spot on the ground where a red stain soaked the floor. I stopped.
"That's where Kimmy's mum was beat to death." Ihzhak whispered softly to me. I looked around and saw many broken stair rails, blood staining places like the stairs, scissors and random junk across the floor, broken glass shattered everywhere and a baseball bat smeared with blood. OMG, I can't believe this is where Kimmy lived before. How horrible and gross. Her father was a monster, a complete monster. He beat his daughter and his wife just because they didn't die with Perri in the car accident. Like Geez, he was one sick bastard.
I felt a hand on my shoulder. I turned to see Alle.
"He wasn't always like this you know." she said to me very softly.
"He was once a kind person that wouldn't hurt a soul, he would take his wife and two daughters to the beach," Alle said as she pointed to a smashed photo frame of a little brunette girl and an older brunette girl hugging their father.
"He used to take them out to eat on special occasions, like when Perri turned 21. He used to make pillow forts with Kimmy and Ihzhak and had pillow fights as well. He used to let us put random make-up on his face, even if it made him look like a clown," Alle carried on after pointing to a series of photos that were all in smashed frames along the wall.
