Since Chan had blocked out the memories from his days at the psychiatry, he had to have Jeongin tell him the way to the cafeteria. Jeongin got a giggle out of this, which only made Chan more embarrassed. Eventually, the two of them arrived at the large doorway that was the entrance to the cafeteria. They see their friends crowded on a table much too small for all nine of them, but it doesn't seem to bother them. Chan walked them up to the table, where he handed Jeongin off to Woojin and Seungmin so that he could go grab some food for both himself and the young boy.

His walk to the lunch line was full of stares and whispers. Everyone there had heard of Chan, and all of the horrible things he had done. A few patients winced out of his way, which made Chan wrap his arms around himself as he continued his walk.

When he arrived at the line, everyone moved out of line to let him go before. While this was convenient, as he could get food for Jeongin faster, it made Chan feel horrible. He didn't even want to hurt any of these people, but his reputation made him an outcast.

The other eight sat at the table noticed this whole situation. They stared at Chan's hunched form with pity. They all knew Chan wouldn't hurt any of the other patients. He had never actually hurt anyone on purpose, not even in his anger-induced rampages. It saddened them that no one else could either remember that, and several of them may not even know that crucial detail.
