Chan was now sobbing, his head in his hands as he wailed. Woojin did not head to comfort him, but from the look on his face, he was trying his best not to.

"I know I'm fucking horrible, Woojin! I don't want to be, but there's no helping it. Maybe it's best if I back away from Jeongin, and leave him in your care. All I can ever fucking do is hurt him." Chan sniffed loudly as we violently rubbed the stray tears out of his eyes and stormed out of the room.

"Uh,,, was that what you meant to happen?" Felix asked softly.

"No. I messed up." Woojin looked at the three of them, his eyebrows turned up and his face twisted into a sad smile. He sighed and walked out of the room, back through the cafeteria doors and to Jeongin to tell him the news. Felix, Jisung, and Seungmin reluctantly followed.

When the four of them sat back down at the table, they were ecstatic to see that Jeongin had somehow eaten nearly half his plate. Given, Chan hadn't given him that much, knowing that if he ate too fast he would just regurgitate it. Nonetheless, they were proud.

However, the peaceful silence didn't last.

"Where's Chan? Was he okay?" Jeongin asked after he finished a bite of food.

Everyone looked at each other, silently questioning whether they should tell him the truth.

Finally, Woojin spoke up, "He's uh,, he's not coming back, Jeongin. I'm so sorry."

Jeongin dropped his fork onto his plate. "What do you mean? Did he have other plans? He'll be back tomorrow, right?"

Woojin sighed once again. "No. I don't think he'll come back at all."

this chapter is a bit shorter,,, i'm so sorry oh my god it's been so long,,,

i'm on a writing spree, so hopfully i can update at least this story, since it may be almost finished. 

my school is also off for the next three weeks due to COVID-19 so i'll have even more time !!
