In the short couple months since the Avatar awoke, Yanmei's life had changed greatly. she loved, she lost, she found peace, and then that repeated. on and on. for nearly a year. until the day she died. the all powerful dual bender shortly lost her life by the hands of the same girl she bloodbended almost 4 years before.
everyone who witnessed the scene believed she was dead. the world believed she was dead. but somehow, someway, she ended up on a beach right on the edge of Kerkaw town - a small Earth Kingdom city on the northeast side of the Kingdom - and was miraculously alive.
Yanmei took this as a sign by the spirits. that maybe her destiny wasn't with the Avatar or the Fire Nation, but to move on from her old life and start anew. to find her own path away from constant war and destruction. a chance to finally live a normal life.
but when Yanmei discovers something about herself that changes everything, she knows that her life would never be normal. constant war and destruction was all she knew, and it was all she was.
