I stood at the bar waiting for a bartender to come to take my drink order. I started to look around at everyone. There was a couple in the corner who were making out and were not coming up for air. I turned and saw a guy try to flirt with this group of girls that weren't interested. There was a group of friends laughing and enjoying their drinks. I saw my group of friends at a table talking and having a good time.

"You know I am starting to think you come to this bar to see me." I rolled my eyes as soon as I heard his voice. I didn't even have to look to know it was Josh. Josh Anderson of the Columbus Blue Jackets.

It was probably about a year ago when I first met Josh, it was here in this bar. He had just won a game in overtime and the whole time went out to celebrate. At first, he was hitting on one of my friends and Maggie told him that she was seeing someone but she told him to go talk to me. He started to sweet talk and tried on his charm but it wasn't working.

I have been with guys like Josh before. The guys that think they are all that. The guys that think they could get any girl they wanted. They guys that take a girl home but want them to leave in the morning and never hear from them.

"This is the best bar in town. I came here to find someone to dance with and to get my mind off life. I can assure you that I did not come here to see you." I turned to the bartender that stood in front of me waiting for my order.

"Put whatever she is drinking tonight on my tab," Josh said next to me.

"No, absolutely not. I can buy my own drinks."

"Why don't you ever let me buy you drinks? I offer to pay for your drinks every time I see you here but you never let me. What if I actually like you and want to get to know you but you won't let me." I rolled my eyes took the drink in front of me and went over to my friends without saying a word to him.

"Was that Josh again?" Maggie asked as I took a seat next to her.

"Yes still trying to buy me a drink and still trying to flirt. He never gives up." I took a sip of my beer.

"Have you ever thought that maybe just maybe he actually has feelings for you and not trying to get you in his bed?" I turned to look at Becky.

"No haven't thought about because that is crazy. Every time we are in here we always see him with some new girl."

"Yeah because you keep turning him down."

All Josh wants is someone to hook up with. I know is type I don't want to get feelings for someone that isn't going to give me those same feelings back.

I looked over my shoulder and saw Josh at the bar still talking to one of his teammates. He looked over at me and smiled. I said something to his friend and walked over to me. I turned back around like I didn't notice and tried to catch up on whatever Maggie was talking about.

I felt a hand on my shoulder and someone's lips go against my ear. "Come dance with me." A chill went down my spine when I heard his voice and felt his breath against my ear. I looked around the table but no one was paying any attention to who stood behind me.

"I'm hanging out with my friends." It was probably a bad idea turning my head to look at him because he didn't move like I thought he would. So our faces were close together to where I make one more forward and my lips would be against his.

"It looks like they don't even notice that we are talking right now." I moved my eyes to look at my friends he was right no one was looking our way. They were talking to some of Josh's teammates that came up to say hi.

"Josh I don't-"

"I love the way you say my name." He turned me around in my chair slowly took a step forward. Now he was standing in front of me in between my legs, one hand on my waist and the other one be brought up to my face. "You don't ever give me the time of day. I flirt with you that doesn't work. I talk to other girls to try to make you jealous but that doesn't seem to work either. I tried not coming to this anymore but its kind of hard not to."
