"hey!" my brother kept shouting outside the door and i was hella annoyed. i put on my facemask and opened the door.

"why the fuck are you yelling?" i asked in annoyance "you're such a snail when you use the bathroom!" minghao whines. "well that's what you fucking do." i rolled my eyes.

"by the way," i took out my phone to see some messages from my phone "did you hear anything from jun?" i asked.

he gives a playful smile.

"honestly, fuck you with all my heart."

"why do you miss him?" he moves closer with an annoying grin "shut up.."

maybe i do.

"if you're not telling then—" "he texted me that he'll stay in china for a while. he'll come back next week probably." i nodded at his statement.

"you totally miss him." i looked at him with disgust on my face "can you shut up? please?" i begged.

"don't worry, when he comes back, he'll assure you he already has his engagement ring ready." he raised his brows at me playfully.

"why don't you marry him instead?" he shook his head with a smile "i swear, haein, jun will be the best boyfriend you'll ever had."

minghao pushed me out of the bathroom and locked the door. i sighed. it feels so empty not having jun around. he would usually send loud messages and he's honestly my alarm clock.

then my phone suddenly buzzed continuously.

i opened it and it was messages from jun. my lips curved up as i saw his messages.

a few hours later, while working on the story, my phone rang. looking at the caller id, it said jun.

i sighed and answered the call. before i could even say a hello, he was already yelling at the other line.

"hI HAEEEEIN" he yelled making me put my phone a little far away from my ear "why are you so loud?" i asked and he gives a low chuckle.

"i'm sorry. did i surprise you?" he chuckles again "i just wanted to ask how you are." i gave him a sigh "why do you even bother?" i asked "you're mean." he whines.

a smile formed in my lips while handling his childish act "i mean why do you care if i'm good or not?" i asked "duh? because you're my best friend's sister? and soon to be my real girlfriend."

he emphasized the word 'real.' and that made my heart pound so much in my chest.

am i seriously falling for wen junhui?

"pfft," i snorted "in your dreams." "i want to show you my favorite places here in china but we'll do that soon." i gave a breathy laugh.

"by the way, do you want anything from here? i can get you some souvenirs or beauty care or whatever. just tell me."

"mmm, whatever you can buy and suits for me, i guess. i'm not good at picking gifts."

he hums "even if i give you an old rusty chinese coin?" he chuckles "whatever." i scoffed.

"i'm kidding...geez." i smiled "i need to go now, you loud ass." i said.

"okay, sleep early, okay?" he whines again "sure." i replied. "okay, good."

"i love you, haein~" he said.
i clicked my tongue, "whatever you say, junhui."
he laughs, "i'll get that 'i love you too' soon." he hangs up.
