[AERI'S POV]

the last lesson of the day finally ended with hyunjin waiting outside my class.

as soon as our eyes met, he waved excitedly.

i can't believe i'm actually dating him. it feels unreal.

"let's go on a date!" he grabbed my hands as soon as i got out of the classroom.

i quickly turned back to wave at yoojung before getting dragged away by hyunjin.

"can we go get bubble tea? i'm suddenly craving it." i asked hyunjin.

he pinched my nose, smiling. "of course, anything for you."

"stop being so sweet, it's not healthy for my heart." i said.

"too bad, i have no intentions of stopping." he laughed.

we went to a bubble tea shop that hyunjin recommended.

there was already a crowd of people waiting for their drink when we got there.

we both ordered caramel milk tea with pearls.

"wait for me here, i need to go to the restroom real quick." hyunjin said.

a boy who was wearing a uniform from another school suddenly approached me.

"sorry but may i know what your number is?" he asked.

i was about to show him my receipt but hyunjin came from behind, standing inbetween us.

"she's taken." he glared at the boy who was visibly confused.

i nudged his arm, pulling him behind me. "geez, hyunjin." i mentally facepalmed before showing my receipt to the boy.

"ah, thank you." he bowed, thanking me before awkwardly bowing to hyunjin.

"what do you think you were doing... he was asking for my queue number.." i crossed my arms.

"i thought he was hitting on you." hyunjin looked down and fiddled with his fingers.

i wrapped my arm around his, "even if he was, i'm already yours.. i'm a loyal person, that's nothing to worry about."

he finally smiled, interlocking our fingers and bending down to kiss my forehead. "god i love you so much, i never ever want to lose you."

"me too." i smiled, giving him a peck on his lips.

i hated whenever couples did public display of affection but look at me now. i guess when you love someone you can't help it.

we finally got our drinks. i sipped on my drink happily, my cravings satisifed

"i want to try yours." hyunjin said, pointing at my drink.

i furrowed my eyebrows, "we bought the same drink though?"

he ignored me, leaning in and taking a sip of my drink.

???

"yours is sweeter." he said, licking his lips.

"if you wanted to indirectly kiss me you should have just said so." i joked, rolling my eyes.

hyunjin raised an eyebrow at me, "why would i want to do that when i could just directly kiss you?" he smirked, stealing a kiss from me.

"your drink really just looked sweeter." he chuckled, flashing me a mocking expression.

"then let me try yours too."

"no way! drink your own, it's sweeter!" he held his drink away from me.

i circled around him, trying to get his drink.

"noo!"

he ended up running away, resulting in a long game of catching.

ugh we're such kids....

but i love it.
