I'm not that bad at school.Probably a little over average...but fine, nonetheless. Yes,I wasn't in the position to compete but I've had enough with that Granger muggleborn.

It was in Divination.Apparently, my Aunt Meg was a Divination specialist who performed it for muggles in exchange for money. One summer, she decided she wanted to teach me,and to my surprise,it was sort of legit. She said I was gifted with prescience...whatever that means. And that I was practically attuned to nature and time...I still had no clue about what she's saying.

Presently,I was unfortunate enough to not have the privilege to pick a seat,I had to finish some essay for Charms during recess and I ran a little late.Class was to be performed by pairs and...well,I sat with Granger who came unexpectedly out of nowhere.

"This term,we'll focus on Tasseomancy, the art of reading tea leaves,"Trelawney chimed excitedly,"So please, take the cup of the person sitting opposite you."

Granger hadn't drank any tea so I had nothing to read. She on the other hand....

"Ah,Miss Granger.Kindly share what Miss l/n might bump into in the mere future,"the professor said.

Hearing those words, naturally I was intrigued.

"I see..,"she hesitated,"...an apple."

"A what now?"I raised a brow.

"Hmmm...very vague.Perhaps Miss l/n might crave some apples for dinner,"Trelawney suggested.

"Or maybe,I'd just do good on a lesson about Apples. After all, they are commonly used for Divination,"I say...feeling that prescience or something.

"That's correct,it is quite possible!Apples are in my lesson plan for next term. Well done,Miss l/n.Five points to Slytherin!"she fizzled,"I feel great potential from you."

As soon as she walked away,I heard Granger mutter,"A bunch of what not,if you ask me.This class is completely irrelevant."

"What do you mean?It is relevant. It's like a gut feeling,Granger. It might just save some lives,"I whispered back thinking about my aunt.

"Oh please, what do you know?"she fired in an annoying, offensive tone.

I breathed in disbelief, "What is wrong with you? You're not the only one here with a brain, believe it or not.You can't just go treating everyone like they're airheads...yes,including your friends. What use is your intellect if you're incapable to have good attitude?Even if it was Trelawney, you should have equal respect for professors. And to think you're actually fighting for elf rights..."

Suddenly, Ronald Weasley barged into the conversation as he occasionally looked at Harry,"She does have a point, you know."

Granger eyed them both...and me too.She threw an eyeroll,as well.Pheeew! She stinks of pride.

I decided to ignore her and just listened the rest of the lesson.

After Divination, we were off to meet Hagrid.I mean,Professor Hagrid of Magical Creatures.

Monster book of monsters in tow,we headed to the forest.I walked with Daphne Greeangrass,my roommate.

"Don't look now but Malfoy keeps looking at you,"she gushed quietly.

I took a quick glance,pretending I didn't intend to.I catch him look away,savoring a green apple.

"Really now?I think he's too carried away with that apple,"I muttered back jokingly.

"Yeah, but we all know that your the Apple of his eye!"she nudged teasingly.

I feel myself blush. Our mutual affection wasn't really secret...but we never have admitted it to each other.
