Stomping out of the motel room, the first thing poped into Dean's mind was "find a bar, drink the night away". But for the first time in his life, he didn’t want to drown himself with alcohol. He wanted to race back to the motel, took his daughter in his arms so that nobody could take her away from him.

But Dean didn’t do any of this, only started walking aimlessly letting the brisk air hit his cheeks. The look on Fayre's face kept haunting him. The way her eyes widened with fear, lips trembled and how she backed away from him.

Pressing the home button of his phone, Dean stared at the screen. It was a picture of three of them. He smiled recalling how Fayre had to stand on tiptoes to squeeze into the frame. Seeing her cute little face grinning at the camera, Dean's heart ached.

He didn’t want his own daughter to afraid of him. He wanted to give her a sense of protection, love and everything he missed out in his life. He exhaled loudly making his breath visible in the cold night.

Suddenly Dean felt his phone vibrated. He anwered the call and heard Sam's voice,

"Dean, Donatello's here"

"Huh! What's he doing there?", Dean asked then muttered unhappily,

"Fine, I'm coming"

The older Winchester's eyes shifted across the room and landed on his daughter. She looked uncomfortable listening Donatello's chanting.

"We have a problem", Sam informed as soon as he saw Dean.

"When we haven’t", Dean said and saw Fayre sneaking a peek at him shyly.

"Fay, will you come with me for a minute?", Dean asked gently.

"Me?...umm...okay", the girl awkwardly stood up.

Dean waited outside for her and she joined him. At first both of them just stood in awkward silence. Fayre was shifting from foot to foot, neither of them knew how to start.

Dean cleared his throat and was about to say something but Fayre beat him,

"I'm sorry, dad. I shouldn’t keep that away from you. I...I should've known better. I'll tell you everything from now on, I promise."

Dean got frustrated hearing that.
"I got angry for no reason. I'm the one who should be sorry, not you"

His voice sounded rough and a tad bit louder than he intended to.
