A pair of rough hands' continuous punching on the sandbag was the only sound echoed in the small room. It had been five hours and yet those hands never stopped to take a breather, not even when droplets of blood started to coat the boxing tape.

It was the renowned hunter Dean Winchester who was abusing his punching bag without any mercy. This fearless man was known for many things but loser was never one of them, yet now-a-days every time, every freaking time he got closer to save the people he loved, only failure would wait for him on the other side.

The cause of Dean's very recent stress started when two days ago they finally got the spell to open a rift to the Apocalypse World, but it brought them a lot of headaches as the action left Donatello, the prophet brain dead and it was just the beginning to their troubles.  With great difficulties when Dean and Ketch went to the other world, the duo couldn't find neither the kids nor Mary Winchester, instead the green-eyed hunter found the apocalypse version of Charlie Bradbury but unfortunately he couldn't convince her to come back with him so in the end, he returned alone, empty handed only to find that Gabriel, the Archangel also bailed on them and now without any Archangel grace, they couldn't open the rift again.

So in the meantime Castiel could find the notorious Archangel, the Winchester brothers had nothing but to wait.

But Dean refused to just sit around hence he busied himself tracking Fayre's mother down and once again to fail miserably. Just like her dual name, Dean suspected the woman also had duel personality because the Isla Everhart he knew was kind, sweet and everything Tara Stratton didn't appear to. But his suspicion remained unsolved as she vanished into thin air after the day they saw her in the graveyard. As a result, the punching bag was now suffering all of Dean's pent up anger, non-stop, without any break.

So when Sam entered the room, it wasn't a surprise for him seeing Dean's bloodied knuckles,  red face dripping with sweat.

"You have to stop", the taller hunter spoke.

Dean being his stubborn self paid no attention to his brother and continued the punches.

Sam only sighed at his brother's behavior and didn't say anything, instead he handed Dean a bunch of papers and told him to check it out.

Shooting his brother a confused look, Dean looked down at the papers in his hand, it was a translated copy of some lore book and had different areas marked with a red marker. Dean's brows immediately rose up reading the content inside, he vaguely remembered trying to find this piece of information months ago when Fayre told them about her first encounter with Lucifer and how Betty Young created a magical circular barrier in front of them in an attempt to save themselves.
