"Let's go on a date, hyung," Donghyuck said and he shuffled closer to Mark, who simply choose to ignore the way the younger wrapped his fingers around his arm and pulled it to his chest.

"A date? Uh—uhm. Alright, when we get back," Mark stuttered before turning his attention back to his phone, hoping Donghyuck wouldn't catch sight of his red face (he did and proceeded to giggle about it). "That was random."

"No, hyung," Donghyuck sighed, his grip on Mark's arm becoming loose and he sat up in his seat. "I mean right now. Let's go on a date right now."

Mark blinked at him for a few seconds, processing what he was trying to say before looking around. "You want us," Mark started, gesturing between them. "To go on a date," Before Mark could finish Donghyuck nodded. "At the airport?"

"Yeah, that's what I want," Donghyuck said casually and stood up, stretching his arms out and letting out a small sound of content. He ruffled his own hair — and Mark had to try his best to not kiss him in public — and then reached over to mess Mark's up, but the older was faster than him and caught his hand. "Come on, Mark Hyung! This airport is massive and there are so many things to do here. Let's go!"

With a sigh, Mark stood up from his seat, almost whining at the loss of comfort (which was his phone and the fluffy blanket Taeyong had given to him) and began walking alongside Donghyuck. They waved at the members and managers, telling them they were going to check around the duty-free area and be right back (they weren't actually going to be quick, otherwise it ruins the purpose of a date, but just to reassure the managers who looked at them with suspicious eyes, they lied).

"Where are we going?" Mark asked and Donghyuck jumped on his spot, his excitement was very obvious with the way he was acting. "I don't wanna walk that much."

"Lazy, lazy," Donghyuck shook his head and intertwined his fingers with Mark, who immediately looked around to check if any fansites were nearby. Thankfully, he couldn't see any (but that still didn't mean they couldn't see him) and he turned back to Donghyuck. "First things first, let's buy each other a present."

"Materialistic piece of—" Before Mark could finish his sentence, Donghyuck jerked forwards and left a chaste kiss on his lips. With wide eyes, Mark stared at Donghyuck with shock. "Donghyuck!" He squeaked, obviously not expecting a kiss in public, where anyone could catch them and then they would end up on the front page of some gossip magazine (or site) with comments full of hate. "Why did you do that?"

"You looked adorable," Donghyuck answered, and his cheeks lit up into a rose colour. "Just wanted to kiss you."

"Not in public, Duckie. That's dangerous," Mark mumbled and peeled his hand away from Donghyuck's, ignoring the twist in his stomach as he watched Donghyuck's face drop. "In private, okay? When it's only you and me. I like it more like that."

Somehow, Mark's words made the light in Donghyuck's smile return and he just laughed it off, choosing to hold onto Mark's bag strap instead and let him lead the way to a gift shop. They entered the shop and clearly, the worker there recognised them ("Mark and Donghyuck!" She yelled and began to hit her co-worker with tears stinging her eyes), so they created a small distance between them, nothing too suspicious.

"I want this," Donghyuck said as he picked up a perfume box, opening it to test the smell.

"Smells…" Mark sniffed the air Donghyuck sprayed it into and scrunched his nose up. "Bad. Really bad. Don't get it."

Donghyuck nodded and then placed it down, which surprised Mark since the younger normally went against nearly everything Mark said. They walked around the store, checking out items and finally decided on a random perfume and a box of chocolates (guess what present was for each). Once they paid — and it was so awkward because the girl in front of them was literally crying — the two shuffled out of the shop and groaned as they realised their fansites had caught up with them.

"There's a piano!" Donghyuck gaped at the grand piano sitting mindlessly in the middle of the large area, a small barrier holding off children. He let go of Mark's arms and practically ran over there, just so that no one else could get there before him and took a seat. "It's been so long since I've seen a piano."

"There's one in your room?" Mark pointed out, to which Donghyuck gave a glare and corrected him — it was a keyboard, not a piano, Mark should know the difference. "Play something then."

Donghyuck nodded enthusiastically and flipped the top off, admiring the keys and turned to Mark with a bright smile. He placed his hands down and began to play a song, making sure to not hit too hard on the keys and make a loud noise. The two sat there for who knows how long, Donghyuck kept switching between songs and Mark was suggesting them. When they realised a small crowd was forming, they decided to leave otherwise it could attract fansites and they weren't looking forward to them.

"Let's get some food," Mark suggested, pinching Donghyuck's jacket and tugging him towards the fast-food store at the end of the hall.

"Yes!" Donghyuck cheered and took Mark's hand in his, although the older tried so hard to brush it off. "I'm so hungry. The airplane food was so bad — oh my god. Mark, did you eat the chicken they gave? It had a bone piece in it and I nearly swallowed!"

"Alright, alright. They gave bad food," Mark chuckled at the Donghyuck's passionate hatred towards the aeroplane food. "At least you're going to have better food now?"

"Yeah, and I'm pretty sure," Donghyuck glanced over at Mark, locking eyes with him before saying, "Anything will taste better if it's with you."

Without any hesitation, Mark opened his mouth and said, "cringe", causing both boys to double over with laughter, not caring about how people were looking at them with a weird look in their eyes.

"Hey, I was trying my best, okay!" Donghyuck faked being hurt and placed a hand over his chest, giggling as Mark rolled his eyes at the younger's dramatics. "Come on, let's hurry up."

Mark glanced around to catch sight of a fansite staring right at him. The second he locked eyes with her, the camera in her hands went off and the sound of shutters was heard. He felt a shiver go through his body and immediately lowered his eyes, a little afraid to look at her again, yet the sound of shutters continued. Sensing Mark's worry, Donghyuck looked over at the fansite and stared at her till she stopped taking pictures (probably embarrassed that Donghyuck had his eyes on her for so long.)

"Ignore them," Donghyuck said, taking Mark's hand in his own and caressing it slowly, hoping that it could help ease the tension.

"I know, I know," Mark sighed, and lowered his head even further. "It's just...you know, after her I get scared."

"It's alright, I'm here with you," Donghyuck smiled at the older before walking into the fast-food store with him. The two ordered some food then stood by the counters and continued speaking. Somehow, they never ran out of things to talk about. As soon as Donghyuck would finish talking about something, Mark would pick up on a tiny detail and their conversation would keep going on. They guessed it was a best friend thing (although Donghyuck had once said 'soulmate things' and ended up with a bruised arm and a blushing Mark).

"We should go back now," Mark whispered, leaning to his right so that only Donghyuck would hear it. The younger nodded, finally stuffing his mouth with the burger before throwing their used wrappers in the bin. "I wonder if the managers have caught on yet." Mark voiced his thoughts out and Donghyuck snapped his head towards him in confusion. "Onto us. I wonder if they know about us."

"They might," Donghyuck said, and tugged Mark closer to him, "Or they might not."

"Do you want them to know?" Mark asked as they neared the group sitting across a bunch of seats, quite literally invading each other's personal space. Donghyuck stopped walking and Mark followed in pursuit.

"Is it selfish of me to wish that they knew? That everyone knew?" Donghyuck looked down at their hands and let go before turning back to Mark. "Nevermind."

With that Donghyuck hurriedly ran over to the older members, showing off the fact that he had eaten food whilst the rest were left to suffer with the plane food — which apparently they didn't have any problem with. Mark looked at Donghyuck's back and sighed. As much as he also wanted the world to know about them, he couldn't tell anyone.
