Most of the campers at Camp Half-Blood knew that Lou Ellen from the Hecate cabin had a crush on Nico di Angelo. Of course with never being interested in girls, Nico was totally unaware of Lou Ellen's hints.
She would often volunteer to inspect the cabins when the half bloods were ordered to clean their cabins just so she can be in Cabin 13.
Lou Ellen loved the fact that he was mysterious and dark, that he'd been through so much pain and yet he kept fighting and stayed on their side, and that he pushed everyone away. Lou Ellen loved a challenge and Nico di Angelo was indeed a challenge.
It wasn't until she saw Nico and Will from the Apollo cabin secretly kiss in the infirmary when they thought no one was looking, when she finally gave up on finding love with the son of Hades.
