summary: they made it to nationals and peter has a solo.
(i decided he's gonna sing It's All Coming Back To Me Now) and also finns parts; so if  you've seen the show you know that he performs what rachel sings.

"guys come on let's go let's go!" Mr Shue was rushing his students out the door and to the bus. Peter and MJ along with Ned were all already on the bus having got their a bit early. soon enough everyone was on the bus filled with nerves and excitement.

"peter is your family coming to nationals?" Flash asked from the front of the bus. Peter just nodded his head and returned his eyesight to looking out the window.

he was listening to his solo song over and over again. he was so nervous, and when he gets nervous he messes up and stutters and forgets things. Mr Shue for some reason said he cold do this but Peter really thought Gwen should've gotten the solo. i mean shes the one who wants to be on broadway and go to NYADA.

his leg started bouncing and he subconsciously bit his nails while the chatter of the bus started getting louder. all of a sudden his phone vibrated a text from his dad and mom in the group chat they have.

"We'll see you soon Pete! Relax, i can feel you bouncing your leg from here. You're going to do great Kid." - Dad

peter felt slightly better but no matter what was said to him his nerves would take over just as quick. he felt a hand on his knee and he looked over.

seeing it was his girlfriend MJ's he took out his airpod and looked at her. she rubbed his leg and gave him an encouraging smile.

"Peter, relax we have a whole bus ride to Ohio. Mr Shue wouldn't of given you the solo if he didn't think you could do it." she smiled lightly and he smiled right back. his cheeks turning a light shade of pink. he slipped his hand into hers and kissed the back of her hand.

peter flipped through his playlist playing some music and he eventually let sleep come over him as he had MJ in his arms and he laid against the window.

Peter woke up to the bus coming to a stop at a restaurant. He groggily sat up and MJ chuckled at his sleepy state.

"come on peter, time for fooooood." she whined like a little kid pulling at his hand. he laughed lightly and hit up making sure he had his wallet.

"alright so we're gonna have to split up. So half of you with me, let's go." luckily me shue called ahead they had a big group coming in, finding out that their meals were already paid for by Peters dad, Tony.

peter, MJ, Ned, Qwen, Wade, Noah, Flash and Mr Shue all day at one table and the others sat together at another one.

"oh! i forgot to mention order whatever don't worry Mr. Stark was very generous and is paying for all our meals." Mr Shue smiled and looked at peter and than continued to look at the menu.

peter blushed and internally rolled his eyes. everyone knew who his adoptive parents were, and sometimes he hated it. Tony Stark and Pepper Potts. the iconic power couple who took in an orphan at 5 years old and wasn't meant to be for the public eye, but that one dam reporter...

Everyone gave small thank yous and peter just gave a forced smile. he was used to it i mean his dad generously offered to pay for the whole trip but peter talked him out of it but his dad insisted he at least pitch in for something and peter couldn't fight him on that.

once their food got there they all dug in continuing to talk about nationals and school.
until it was time to head back out to the bus and continue on to little old Ohio.
