Leaving?

At night

Preeta was at terrace. She was thinking about her life, when she didn't want to come here but now she is more than happy. Here, she have her best friend to whom she fights with but also he is a shoulder to cry upon.

She was indulged in her thoughts when someone tapped on her shoulder.

Preeta(breathing heavily): karan, dara diya tum ne,,aise koi bulata hai kya?

Karan(laughs): apni shakal dekho...

Preeta looks at other side but didn't say anything.

Karan: acha yr...is tarah naraz na ho plz...

Preeta(sternly): bolo, kya kehne aye the

Karan(innocently): acha,I'm sorry.

Preeta looks at him and says: tumhe pata hai k mujhe kese manate hain, right?

Karan(laughs): bohot ache se...acha mein tumhe kuch batane aya tha.

Preeta: bolo

Karan: yeh baat bohot khushi ki hai aur sirf tumhe pehle bata rha hoon.

Preeta: areyyy ab bata bhi do

Karan: mera IVY League mein admission ho gya hai. College mein hi mein ne apply kiya tha..aur aj hi letter aya hai.

Preeta was shocked to hear that. But she smiled and said: yeh tu bohot khushi ki baat hai.

She hugs him and said: Congratulations!! Tum tu bare parhako nikle

They broke the hug.

Karan: aakhir, dost kis ka hoon?

Preeta(laughs): right..

Karan senses something.

Karan: preeta, koi problem hai? Tum khush nahi howi?

Preeta(smiles): nahi karan, aisi koi baat nahi hai..actually I'm happy k mujhe irritate krne wala koi nahi hoga...aur ghar ki attention sirf mere ooper hogi..

Karan: acha,yeh baat hai...chalo koi nahi..mein wapis tu aao ga na...humesha wahi tu nahi rehna wala

Preeta(laughs): dekh le ge...

Karan: ab neeche chalo,,raat bohot ho gyi hai...yeh news kal mein sab ko bataon ga...

They went downstairs. Preeta went into her room when karan called her.

She turned back n he said: Good night, babydoll.

She smiled and left.

That day she didn't sleep well. She didn't know why but something was troubling her.

Karan slept thinking about something.

Next Morning

All were sitting in dining hall.

Karan: Mom, mein aap logon ko kuch batana chahta hoon

Rakhi: haan beta bol, kya baat hai?

Karan: mom, mein ne aap ko bataya tha na k mein bahar ki universities k liye apply kr rha hoon..

Rakhi: haan, tune apply bhi kiya tha..

Karan: so, kal letter aya tha aur mera admission ho gya hai..

Rakhi: kya? Yeh tu bohot hi khushi ki baat hai.

Sarla: is mauke pe tu party rakhni chahiye, haina rakhi g?

Rakhi: g kiun nahi? Aisa krte hain parso k din ghar mein party rakhte hain.

Karan: Mom, is ki kya zaroorat hai....

Rakhi: zaroorat hai beta,,bas mein ne keh diya tu keh diya..

Preeta: karan, ma keh rhi hain tu is mein kya hai? Rakhne do na party...

Karan: theek hai,,jese aap ki marzi..

All agreed to arrange a party.

Karan: preeta, tum ready ho?

Preeta: haan kiun?

Karan: tu chalo mein tumhe college drop kr deta hoon.

Preeta gave him shocked look.

Preeta: tum mujhe drop kro ge?

Karan: haan tu, pehle bhi tu hum sath mein hi jate the na...

Preeta: haan pr pehle tum bhi jaate the...ab tu nahi jaate...mein chali jaon gi...

Karan: mein ne tumse poocha?

He stands and said: mein bahr wait kr rha hoon, a jana

Preeta: aaj sooraj west se nahi nikla..

She said goodbye to all and sat in the car. Neither of them spoke the whole way.

Karan: college a gya hai..

Preeta: ja rhi hoon,,thanks

Karan: suno, jab tk mein yahan hoon, tumhe mein hi drop krne aya krun ga, okay?

Preeta: okay...

She went inside but karan looked at one person who was keeping an eye on them.

Karan: yeh theek nahi hai..aisa nahi hona chahiye..

He glared that guy and left from there.

Preeta was at college when some guy came to her.

Guy: hi beautiful..

Preeta didn't replied him and walked past him..

The guy held her through wrist and pulled her back.

Preeta: dekho,, mujhe jane do..warna tumhare liye acha nahi hoga..

That guy held her tightly and said: tumhari khoobsurti k bare mein suna tha...aaj dekh bhi liya

He start leaning towards her when she somehow freed herself from his hold.

She slapped him and said: kaha tha na door rho mujhse,,ainda agar mere paas ane ko koshish bhi ki..tu bohot bura haal krun gi..

She immediately ran from there and got a cab and left for home.
