Distracting

Three days before karan's flight.

Both were having good times together as only three days were left after that he will leave this country.

That day preeta's mood wasn't fine. Everyone wasn't giving her attention and this was not liked by her as it was her birthday.

Nobody wished her, not even her bestfriend. It was midday but she was with karan. He took her to shopping as an excuse so that he can make arrangements at home.

Karan: preeta, yr batao na mein konsa lun in dono mein se? White ya blue?

Preeta(casually): koi bhi lelo

Karan: yr batao plz,,mujh se decide nahi ho rha...

Preeta: white wala lelo.

Karan(smiles): hmm....thanks

He ordered shopkeeper to pack it.

Karan: preeta, tum ne apne liye kuch nahi lena?

Preeta: nahi...

Karan: areyy aise kese nahi lena?

He grabbed her hand and took her to nearby shop.

Preeta: karan mein ne sach mein kuch nahi lena

Karan: mein tum se pooch nahi rha..chalo kuch decide kro yahan se..

Preeta unwantedly went and start choosing the dresses.

Karan came to her and said: yr pehli baar aisi larki dekhi hai jis ko kapron ka shauq nahi hai...

He asked her to stand beside him. Then he start choosing the dress for her. Finally he chose long cream color dress for her.

Karan: yeh lo, jao isse try kro..

Preeta: try krne ki zaroorat nahi hai...aise hi theek hai.

Karan: dekho preeta, kuch hi dinon tk mein chala jaon ga...phir tumhe koi lift bhi nahi krwane wala...tu behtar yehi hai k apne is dost ki baat mano aur jao try kr k aao.

Preeta just looked at him and listened what he said. She somehow felt strange. Like she doesn't want him to go. She doesn't want her bestfriend to go..

Karan waves hand infront of her and said: preeta, kin khayalon mein ho? Jao na..

Preeta came back to senses: haan ja hi rhi hoon.

Karan(to himself): I know preeta k tum kis baat se sad ho, k mujhe bhi tumhara special day nahi yaad pr thora aur wait krlo..

Preeta came out and she was looking angelic. She came towards him and asked how she's looking.

Karan(smiles): tum tu hamesha se hi pretty ho...

Preeta(smiles): thank you...acha mein change kr k aati hoon.

Karan stopped her and said: wait, change krne ki koi zaroorat nahi hai..isi tarah rho..

Preeta: kya? Ab kya mein ghar tk isi dress mein ghoomti rhu?

Karan: yr tum ne konsa beghair car k jaana hai...car mein bethogi aur ghar k saamne car se niklo gi...koi nahi dekha ga tumhe...

Preeta was reluctant to it but karan insisted it by saying: plz plz plz.....mere liye...

Preeta: acha theek hai...itni masoom shakal banane ki zaroorat nahi hai....itne tum ho nahi..

Karan(smiles): thankyoouuu

After that they went out of the mall. As they approached the car park, karan said to preeta.

Karan: preeta, tum car mein wait kro mein ata hoon.

Preeta: lekin abhi tu tum....

Karan: yr jao na...mein kuch bhool gya hoon, abhi aata hoon.

Preeta: theek hai...

She went towards the car and sat inside while karan went towards the mall. Preeta was still angry and sad at the same time.

Preeta: subah se shaam ho gyi...kisi ne bhi mujhe wish nahi kiya...bas aj ka din khatam hone do.....phir  ek ek kr k sab ko bataun gi...(she scoffed)

After sometime car door opened and he sat inside.

Preeta: agye tum? Kitni dair lagate ho?

Karan smiles but didn't say anything.

Preeta: yeh smile kiun pass kr rhe ho?

Karan: kuch nahi....aise hi....

Preeta: kahan jana hai abhi?

Karan: ghar...

Preeta(sarcastically): kiun, tum ne kuch aur nahi lena kya?

Karan: nahi lena....

They drove to their home. Non of them spoke the whole way. But karan was enjoying it. He haven't seen her like this for ages. Now was the time to tease her.

Karan got down of the car and opened the car door for her.

Preeta: tum theek ho na? I mean fever waghera tu nahi hai?

Karan shrugged his shoulders and said: kiun? Mein ek dum fine hoon. Mujhe kya hona hai?

Preeta: aaj tum ne bilkul ek gentleman ki tarah behave kiya. Na mujh se jhagra kiya...meri tareef bhi ki....yahan tk k door bhi open kiya....is liye keh rhi thi...

Karan(smiles): wo kya hai na babydoll, aaj mein bohot khush hoon...

Preeta: us khushi ki wajah?

Karan(casually): kiun k aaj mein kisi special ko special feel krwane wala hoon.

Preeta: kis ko?

Karan(casually): mere saamne hi tu hai..

Preeta: kya?

Karan: umm..I mean mere saamne hi khari rho gi ya andar bhi jaana hai...chalo ab.......
