"I'm gonna miss you too! You have my number right?" I asked.

I was being transferred to another store upon request. Today was my last day at this location.
I hugged back before saying my last goodbyes. I walked out and got into my moms car.
"Hey mama." I greeted her.
"Hey baby." She said. "How was work?"
"It was okay." I shrugged. "I'm hungry though."
"I ordered us some food from around the corner. Can you run in and get it?" I asked.
"Yeah." I nodded as she drove around the corner to the Jamaican store.
I hopped out of the car and walked into the store with my head down hoping to not get spotted. I seen a group of niggas and I'm assuming it's Karti and them because this the area they hang at.
"Pick up for Evelyn." I said.
"What you getting?" Someone came up behind me. I turned around and see it was Breasia. Cody wasn't too far behind.
"I don't know. My mama ordered it for me."
"Aw, your mama still feed you?" Cody asked in disbelief. "That's not fair."
I laughed. "Hey Cody."

"What y'all was doing?" I asked them.
"Illegal tingz." Bre said. "I'm finna come to your house." She walked out of the store and walked to my mama car.
"Your house the move?" Cody asked.
"For you and Bre." I shrugged.
"The gang can't come?" Cody asked.
"Cameron be acting funny whenever I speak to him. Boog is a fucking weirdo. And I ain't fucking with Karti."
"Cam be on his period sometimes." He said. "Why you ain't fucking with Karti?"

"I'm serious." He said before my phone began to ring. It was Tone. I decided not to answer it right now.
"Aht Aht!" Cody said. "Why Tone calling you? You still talk to Karti."
"I ain't talk to that man in like 2 weeks." I said. "Now next time you bring Karti up we can't be friends no more." I jokingly said.
"Ok." He pretended to zip his mouth shut.
"Here you go miss." The lady handed me the food and I walked out.
