The cold water seeped into your bones as you glided around.

The storm that had been raging on for some time had finally ended, leaving the sky as blue as the water you breathed. Passing a school of fish you grinned impishly as you started to pick up speed. Tail pounding with unimaginable strength as you aimed your destination to the sky.

The depths of the ocean were fun, but sometimes it was just a bit more exciting to have the air in your gills, hair swept to the side by the breeze, and to watch the passing Porgs.

Opening your hands you let the webbing in between help you propel yourself up. The difference in pressure made your ears plug up but with no care, you kept pushing, the urge to breach the surface forefront in your mind.

Crystal clear water splashed as you thrust yourself up and into the clean air, spinning delightfully as your (y/e/c) eyes searched the horizon. Perhaps a stranger would end up here. Or maybe a Porg would pass by and you would be able to chase it about.

But as you continued to look around you felt the waves roll over your shoulders. Hair plastered sickly to your forehead, the wind cooling the trickling water that was flowing down your (y/h/c) tendrils.

Your watery town was not too far away from a coast full of those two-legged creatures, every so often you would go to the beach, sit on the rock closest to a cove. Watching them was and is a form of comedy for you.

They always would bring brightly colored blankets and awkward sun blockers. Sometimes you would catch glimpses of smaller versions of themselves. Children perhaps. You had only seen a few here and there, didn't everyone have one? Or where they like expensive pets?

But whatever they might be, I love them.

Flipping your tail you make your way to your favorite rock, it was quite tall if you had to describe it. Deep crevices that allowed to grip it when you were tired of fighting the currents. It was able to allow you a perfect view of the strange creatures and hide you from prying eyes.

Now being found was a whole different story. Tales of fishermen and pirates haunted your dreams. The stories of how they treated your people made you internally cringe. De-tailing, slave trade, fisheries, and butchery for scales.

Shuddering at the thought you look to the beach, trying to spot any foreigners or regulars that came to the beachside.

There was a large cliff, housing tuffs of grass and large boulders, that forbade you to see what sort of city lied above. A winding path of sorts started in the middle that those alien humanoids used. Some would trip accidentally, rolling down the path rather than 'walking'down it. Legs had their downsides that was for sure.

Sighing you continued to watch for any early goers that sometimes came to 'run' along the shore. Right? Run? Was what they did?

Sounds of engines above your watery environment alerted you to the busy port that resided inside the prestigious town you had grown to adore. One day, one day you would be able to see it for yourself.
