TRIGGER WARNING:HOMOPHOBIA
He was ready. Terrified but ready. He had a little note in his hands, just in case but it
will be fine, right ? James told him that what he wrote was perfect, Peter too and Sirius even proposed to go with him but he refused. He has to do it, alone.
He decided to do it during the Christmas break. He was supposed to stay with Sirius
and he wanted to but his boyfriend understood and let him leave Hogwarts. His parents were
surprised to see him but so happy and he was too. It was nice to be home.
But right now, he had to go downstairs and face them. He had to tell them the truth.
"Hey mum,dad, can I talk to you?" "Yes,sweetheart. Is everything okay?" His mother ask. He went and sat down on the sofa in front of his parents,he was fidgeting with his jumper sleeve.
"Um,yah." "What is it son?" His father ask. He was about to tell them but nothing came out of his mouth.
" Remus, is everything alright ? " asked his mother, already standing up to check on her son.
He just nod. He could feel the tears coming but he couldn't cry, not now. So, he took
a deep breath and said :
" I... I've got something to tell ya "
" Well, what is it already ? " asked his father, impatient.
" I know about it for some times now and... and I'm not confused or anything you know, I..." He stopped for a second and looked at his parents. They both seemed so confused.
He had to just tell them, now.
" mum, dad, I'm... I'm bisexual. "
His mom broke into a smile and hugged him so tightly "oooh im so proud of you,sweetheart." "Mum-thanks fo-r the support-but-i need to-breath." " I'm sorry baby " she said in a laugh " You didn't have to..."
" No you're not." said his father with a voice as cold as ice.
" Lyall... "
" No,Hope, I do not want any of this under my roof. "
He could swear he heard his heart broke into pieces. But at the same time, it was no
surprise to him. After all, it was his dad who just couldn't bear to have a werewolf as a son. "W-what do you mean dad?" Remus said. "I mean you stay out of my house and be what ever the fuck you are." "Lyal!" "Hope, the boy is gay!" "So what love is still love! You and mum can go around kissing and holding hands why can't i and my boyfriend do that?" "He is right lyall,what the difference?" "Hope,it's bad enough in the Muggle world,and he is a-" lyall stopped himself "im a what?"

he turned to his mother, holding her hands " It was nice to see you mum and I'm so sorry
about everything, I shouldn't... "
" No sweetheart, do not apologize for that. I will talk to your dad. "
" I'm still here... "
" Shut it Lyall. "
He never heard his mother talk this way but it felt nice to see her stand up against her
husband to protect her son.
" It's okay mum, I'll leave. Sirius is... "
" Sirius ? As in Sirius Black ? " asked his father.
"Yes. He is my boyfriend" layall laughed "see Hope. He isn't only gay, but gay for a fucking black." "No dad! U and i both know too well that Sirius is not a black and keep him out of this he got nothing to do with it!"
The roaring of a engine covered the answer of his dad.
" I have to go. "
He kissed his mother on the cheek and went upstairs to grab his stuff. He could hear his
parents shouting in the living room and felt sorry for leaving his mother but he couldn't stay.
As, he went down the stairs for the last time, his dad hurried to open the door.
" Well, well, what do we have here. "
" It is nice to see you too Mr. Lupin. Merry Christmas by the way but I'm here to pick up my boyfriend if you wouldn't mind. "
Remus couldn't help but smile at the sarcastic tone Sirius used.
" 'your boyfriend' isn't going anywhere with you, Black." "Lyall." "Hope,He will not go anywhere." "Why not dad?" Remus said already very annoyed of his dad. "Because you two are poofs! I did not ask for my son to be a poof." "Lyall stop!" "Well you never ask for a monster either, but i guess life isnt fair, is it?." Remus said " Well, Mr. Lupin, you can call me a poof if you want but if you dare talking to Remus like that
again, you'll see what a angry Black look like."
" I'm eager to see that. " said Lyall, ready to take his wand out.
" Dad, stop ! And you too Sirius. "
Remus finally walked toward the door and pushed away his dad who didn't even try to stop him.
Lyall left the house and slammed the door, Sirius and Remus were holding hands and Remus was crying. Hope walked over to him and hugged the both of them "im sorry boys,you know your dad didn't mean it he will accept it." "Mum he said it more than twice,what do you mean he doesn't mean it." "Im sorry,it's my fault." "Oh no,Sirius,son you did nothing wrong and im so so proud of the both of you." " I'm proud of you too, you did well babe. "
Remus wiped away his tears and gave a weak smile to his boyfriend. If his dad still couldn't
accept he was a werewolf, he will never accept the fact he was bisexual and even though it
broke his heart, he will be fine. Because he had his mother, Sirius, James, Peter and Lily to
support, help and love him. And it was enough.
